Q:installing tile?
Tiles are OK for a change but which tiles? There are variety of materials offered in tiles like clay/ceramics, porcelain, PVC etc. You can segregate these into hard and flexible category. The wooden floors are semi-hard floors. They are neither rigid nor flexible but fairly closer to the flexible surfaces. Flexible floors can not take the hard materials like clay or porcelain tiles etc. they are fit for flexible materials like carpets, PVC, laminated boards or wooden tiles. For a mobile home with wooden floors carpets or PVC floors are the best. i will not recommend rigid flooring like concrete or ceramic tiling. You can easily find tile-finish PVC or laminated board flooring in variety of colors. Try some if you are fed up with carpets and looking for a change.
Q:What is the white powder on the back of the floor tiles?
Is a ceramic tile factory at the same time a talcum stuff, tile packing is a stack of one, from the protective effect. Soaked when the water
Q:Tiles in my bathroom?
22 tiles at a bare minimum. 8x8=64 s/inches 56x64=3584 total s/inches in the room 13x13=169 s/inches 3584 divided by 169 is 21.2 or 22 tiles. 4/5 pc for scrap so 26/27 total pcs. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar and check my qualifications there. GL
Q:Replacing a ceramic tile floor?
it is never a good idea to overlay anything, but it is your choice... myself i would remove the floor tile, check to make sure that the underlayment is well attached, if not you can screw down all the joints, put down luan board (screw and glue) which is 1/4 inch thick, using the correct thin set for what you have relay the tile floor. if there is any height differences around the cabinets simply use a small 1/4 round around the kick plates at the bottom of the cabinets, this will help with any cosmetic looks. when you get someone to lay the floor make sure they are bonded and insured and get any permits if needed for your area.
Q:Will the home decoration tiles brand which are better? Can you tell me?
015 tiles top ten brands: 1, Dongpeng tiles (China famous brand, the top ten brands of Chinese ceramics) 2, MARCO POLO / Marco Polo (Guangdong famous brand, designated partners, tiles top ten brands) 3, million US ceramics (China famous brand, the top ten brands of Chinese ceramics) 4, Gao En (China Environmental Label, China Ceramic Industry brand, the top ten brands of Chinese ceramics) 5, Nobel (China Compulsory 3C certification, Guangdong famous brand) 6, Bao Run (tiles) (China Famous Brand, China Famous Brand, China Top Ten brands of ceramics)  7, LOLA / Loulan (ceramic industry brand name, Guangdong Province, customer satisfaction products, China's top ten brands of tiles) 8, in the Sheng (China famous brand products, Chinese architectural ceramics well-known brands)  9, KITO / gold pottery (China well-known trademarks, Chinese famous brand, China's top ten brands of tiles) 10, TOMMONG / Tang Meng (China 3C certification, the Chinese famous brand, the top ten Chinese ceramics products. These are well-known big brands, no problem in quality, of course, the price will not be too low. In fact, there are some second-tier brand tiles, their quality is not bad, but the popularity of several slightly lower than the above. It must be based on your personal needs and budget to consider, and ultimately choose a satisfactory brand. First-line brands: Dongpeng, the new source, the Asia, the crown beads, Eagle, Mona Lisa, Marco Polo, gold rudder, Smick, Nobel, champion, Hui Da, Asia, Hongyu, Jiajun,
Q:Remodeling kitchen. Do I replace cabinets or ceramic tiles first?
In any new home construction ANY flooring is installed after and up to the cabinets set on the floor. It seems logical to assume WASTE in doing otherwise. What possible purpose might it serve to have material costing upwards of $2 per sq. ft. Under, and hidden by, cabinets?? The replacement cabinets should be installed first,,,BUT...the old flooring removed first would be the best strategy. Steven Wolf PS: It's your choice as to floor install under a stove and refrigerator. I'd probably proceed that way if contracted.
Q:Can you use a glass cutter to cut tile?
It really depends on the tile. All tile cuts differently. The width of your cut even makes a difference. You basically have to test your tile to find out. Most tile cuts easily. Tiles from Italy and Brazil can be a nightmare requiring slow water cuts. A set of hand nippers is a must.....to clean cuts and make inside corners......as well as cuts for plumbing and electrical. Shop around.....there are some single use tile tools available on the market.
Q:Is polished tiles and tiles a thing?
Polished tiles are a kind of tiles. Tiles include, polished tiles, glazed tiles, tiles, antique tiles and so on. Polished tiles, then I suggest doing surface protection treatment (generally not recommended waxing), because the polished brick pores are relatively thick, it is easy to dirty. Details can visit our website.
Q:Price for ceramic tile installation?
Sometimes it is not only how many square feet of tile is required to put down, the formula also must take into consideration the difficulty of the installation. The difficulty is proportional to the number of cuts that are required to be performed and weather these cuts are straight or curved. There are also other expenses. 1.Soundness of sub floor. If poorly supported the tile will crack. 2.Does installation require removal of base molding and its replacement following the installation? 3.Moving of the appliances/furniture and so on. Finally, now days and roughly, the installer wants to make $260-400 per day. Tiling is never 1 day job since application of grout is required at least 24h following the installation. So if the job is straight forward 3.5 - 4.5 per square feet is a good price on the average. Considering it is with prep $5.00 sounds like Ok. New York City or LA for example may cost a bit more. Let me know if it helps.
Q:How can you tell the difference between wall tiles and floor tiles?
often it is only the size and shape that makes it different often floor tiles wont be rectangular floor tiles are sometimes thicker so they dont crack as easy wall tiles will often be glazed and slippery
