Q:bathroom tiles?
you can rent one from Home Depot
Q:How to paint tiles?
With your tiles if you want to paint them darker then yes you can buy specific tile paint, which involves using a primer first then the paint, but to go lighter i think u may struggle as covering any dark colour and going lighter is tough. As for your cabinets, depends what they are made of, if the r solid wood a light sanding and primer should suffice, if they have laminate fronts(shiny) i wouldn't bother trying to paint them, just buy new fronts, its often as cheap as buying all the paints and primers etc!
Q:How much bacteria resides in ceiling tiles?
Leave them alone. The best you could do with ceiling tiles in any case would be to vacuum them; ceiling tiles don't like moisture so you can't attack them with any kind of wet cleaning agents and expect to get away with undamaged tiles. Look around and see how often you see anyone ever treating ceilings. Bacterial threat from ceilings is effectively zero: the only things that ever get there have to be airborne in which case the ceiling is the least of your worries, and you don't ever touch them anyway. Anything that lands on and sticks to the tiles will dry out very shortly, it's a ridiculously inhospitable environment for life, bacterial or otherwise.
Q:How to paste tiles better
Precautions     Tiles before the application of blisters, the number of bubbles can be built how much, do not all the one-time bubble finished, soaked with water to meet the construction progress of the workers. Due to improper mixing of cement and sand caused by the proportion or due to improper cement, cement, the proportion of large, strong adhesion of tiles, brick can quickly stick, but the high proportion of cement mixing, cement mortar expansion coefficient, easy After the paving the brick will be cracked. The recommended ratio of wall tiles is 1: 3, tiles are: 1: 2 - 3, cement cement is numbered 32.5 cement. Grinding to be careful not to damage the tile glaze layer, the link attention to the gap, not too small.
Q:Can you paint tiled floor?
There okorder.com/ it recommends not using floor tile paint in places such as bathrooms where there is moisture. I guess you could paint the floor a week or two before putting it on the market - a case of buyer beware if it all scrapes off 6 months later - but the paint is quite expensive so I wouldn't personally go down this route myself - as it's not a nice thing to happen for the unsuspecting buyers. I'm guessing that currently the floor is more of an eyesore as you haven't integrated this into your current bathroom design? Personally, I would ditch the painting idea and buy a decent off-cut of lino and cover up the old floor tiles since you only have a small area to work with. Lino nowadays comes in many guises/patterns and since it's a small area you can check all local companies for offcuts of perhaps the more expensive pseudo 'wood' type lino etc... You may spend £50 but it will brighten the room and transform it into a more modern look - and ultimately will help you get your asking price. (You could also tell the buyers that the original green tiles are still underneath and they could reveal them if they wanted to...just don't tell them how ugly they are...the secret is to get them excited about new possibilities in the future!!) LOL Fingers crossed that your house sells quickly in the Spring. xx
Q:How do you put on stick on tiles,?
For your best adhesion. its best to start out with a clean wood sub floor. Depending on what is down now, its best to put a new luan sub floor. These you can sometimes go over whats there now and sometimes its best to rip out and start new. Always start from the middle and work to the out side. But if your tile lays out to less than a 1/2 tile, move the tile over the center line by a 1/2 tile. Now MOST peel n stick are directional so they must be layed all in one direction.. This is personal preference, but I like to have a whole tile at the doorway and what ends up in back is the way it is unless its a real small pc. Dry lay out the tiles to see what you like.. Any flooring questions you can e mail me thru my avatar.. GL
Q:Removing ceramic tile?
Dusty okorder.com
Q:Can you put vinyl tile on vinyl tile ?
Maybe. If the old vinyl tile is flat, then yes. If it is dimensional (has any type of raised surface), then you would have to use a flooring patching compound to level it (a lot of work). Also, you have to make sure the old vinyl tile is clean. Glue will not stick to a dirty surface. I would think it would be easier to get thin plywood, nail it down and put the vinyl tile on that.......
Q:How to install ceramic wall tile?
Most important get a decent tile cutter plan out your tiles so you have an equal cut at each end ,use tile spacers and good adhesive most of all like most DIY take your time
Q:are there tiles in your house that are unlevel?
No, my tile guys spent half the day leveling the concrete before laying the tiles. They sanded down the high spots and used filler in the low spots. My floor was perfectly level before they ever layed the first tile. They would slide a 8' straight edge over the floor many times look for discrepancies.
