FAQ

1.   What is the delivery time after we paid the deposit?

—— Normally we shall get all items ready for loading within 3 weeks after we get the deposit or the formal Letter of Credit?

2.    For Glazed Floor Tile, is the 40*40 available?

—— Yes, 40*40 is available. Based on the actual market demand, we could also supply 45*45 and 50*50 accordingly.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

—— Normally the MOQ is one 20’ container. For some special model, if its production is not arranged frequently, the MOQ is 5 containers.

Q:I need to repair my shower, about 6 tiles fell off. I‘m currently drying the drywall with a fan. Whats the best way to glue tile back on the wall?
First of all I would look at the wall behind where the tile has came off. If your house is old or installation was poor they may not have the proper material behind the tile, as in the wall. If it is sheetrock, no wonder! You need either greenboard or dur-rock behind it that is the code. Anyways, once you find this out see if it's only sheetrock behind it, it won't do you any good to stick em back up. Which if the material behind is fine than just get some match stick at home depot that's cheap but creates a nasty mess. Or grab a small bag of thinset which you mix with water or some will require an extra additive which will be where ever you go for the thin set. You can get this stuff at Home Depot or Lowes while your there I 'd grab a trowel with 3/8 knotch spacers and your grout. Hopefully all of the peices were full peices. If not your gonna have to borrow a hand held maquita or cutter or saw. Make sure your rows with trowel are even with through out your spread. If you are using thinset, you have to apply thinset to wall and tile. Obviously you stick the tile first grab some sort of extra scrap to spread them appropriately. Wait a day for the thinset to set up and the next day pull out your wedges or spacers and grout. Good luck. Chic
Q:it is literally burning hot have no idaea wat the problem is plzz help:). porcelain tile btw

Q:Any ideas on which model tile cutter is good? and any tips on how to cut around corners and diagnally?
Ask the experts at Home Depot. That's your best bet.
Q:We grouted the tile, and also had a border tile up.. the border is decorative and has some texture to it.We did wipe off the excess as we grouted. The next day tho, my brother sealed it, before making sure all the dust was off.. now there is some grout dust sealed onto the border tile. I scrubbed with a toothbrush, and managed to get some of it off.. but not all.Is there anything I can do to remove the grout, or even the seal, without ruining the finish on the tile??
This Site Might Help You. RE: removing grout from tile? We grouted the tile, and also had a border tile up.. the border is decorative and has some texture to it. Q:My parents want to re-tile their bathroom. My dad says he can use regular tiles in the bathroom, bathroom being the floor and the open-shower walls(the only thing stopping the water spillage is plastic and fabric on a rail), but my mom says it needs bathroom tiles and bathroom grout for the job. Any help would definitely be appreciated!!!
I okorder /.. I tiled and grouted my parent's bathroom when I was 15... it's still looking good 40+ years later. One of the decisions that keep the appearance looking good was to pay very close attention to attaching the tile backer to the walls, and to use a colored grout on the floor. Keep all the grout sealed and you'll do fine.
Q:Does the tiles have radiation?
Tiles have radiation. Tile radiation does exist, the raw materials of ceramic tile products from stone powder, quartz powder, long sand powder, zircon powder and other minerals, these raw materials in the process of decay a special radiation, resulting in radiation. The tiles of human radiation, in addition to the ceramic tile itself, as well as tiles in the processing of additives generated by radiation, such as ultra-white brick polished tiles to add zirconia or dark glaze contains uranium, potassium and so on. So, the radiation in the tiles is unavoidable. In fact, the tiles are drawn from natural stone, and natural stone will produce radiation. As the tiles are only artificial synthesis of natural materials, radiation is much smaller than the natural materials, the radioactivity remained at a low level. For ceramic products such as tiles and other raw materials, radioactive material will continue to decay, these raw materials through the natural purification and artificial processing, the radioactivity can be ignored. As long as consumers buy quality qualified Class A tiles, even if the use of large area, do not have to worry about its radiation problems.
Q:The shiny surface ceramic tile is set unto a cement slab - it has been there 15 years or more with no cracks. Do I need to rough up the surface before I set the tile- if so how? I have tried sanding it (60 grit), wire brushing it - there is no effect on the surface. Also I live in a small town - we do have a Home Depot - do they sell a good bonding agent? If so what? Thank-you for your answer!
I have tiled porcelain over ceramic with long term results. make certain the surface is clean and free of any foreign matter, also use the best modified thin set available and u can also add a latex additive for added strength to the thin set.
Q:I have a commercial pool thats about 100 years old ( with modern modifications). The ceramic tiles on the floor area are original. We have been begged by just about everyone not to replace them. It looks soo dirty. Our comepetition is more expensive.....water quality is horrible....and their pools are packed all day. Im lucky to get 5 people in an 18 hour day. The water and inside the pool look nice.....just getting to the pool...people think they will get a disease. Its just old age stain....not sure what that is exactly.
you could try an acid base cleaner on the tile . These type of stains may be just old age though and i know every one says don't replace old things but if these tiles are past there prime? i am sure you can get a modern tile that has the same look
Q:so i was wanting to lay some ceramic tiles down in a small room. right now in the room i think theres vinyl tiles and they r laid right on top of the pplywood floor. so im just wondering am i able to just lay the ceramic tiles right on top of the plywood floor after i tear up scrape up the old floor? any advice?
Zocko is correct. Also the concrete board underlayment should be screwed to the sub floor as recommended by the manufacturer. 8 o.c.? Also the joints in the concrete boards should be staggered to achieve maximum strength and not encourage long weak lines. If there is any deflection or movement noticed when heavy loads are moved across the floor after the concrete board has been installed, look for the reason and solve it. Otherwise you will be called back to fix grout pop outs and then you will have to solve the movement problem. If the plywood is less than 3/4 or the joist spacing is greater than 16 you should be concerned.
Q:The ceramic tile in my shower is looking really shabby and I‘d like to re-do it in subway tiles on the walls and mini hexagonal tiles on the floor. Has anyone ever re-tiled an old shower? What should I keep in mind? It is a single story house that is about 30 years old and I beleive it is all the original stuff.
Most of the stores like Home Depot and Lowes actually have classes to show you how to do this sort of thing. They will even show you how to use the tools. Remember it is going to tie up your shower for a weekend at least, so make arrangements with a friend to use their shower !It's a hellofa job but when it's done you feel awesome! The removal and prep is a lot harder than the repacement. Very messy so make sure you have a good shop vacuum handy and those little face masks too. You are gonna love this.
