Q:Installing beadboard over ceramic tile?
This Site Might Help You. RE: Installing beadboard over ceramic tile? We‘re renovating an old house, and the ceramic tile on the bathroom walls is just awful. I‘d like to replace the wall tile with beadboard. The tiles appear to be mortared directly onto the drywall. Is it a good idea to install the beadboard directly over the ceramic tile? Or should we...
Q:tile issues?
try a small torch,we used it to get tiles warm it seems to melt glue some. Just be careful gets hot fast.
Q:Wood or Tile Floors for Kitchen?
have had both - loved my marble tile floor for cleaning and appearance it always looked great. HATED my white ceramic tile floor - showed absolutely everything and had to be cleaned constantly and was very hard on the back. love love LOVE my factory finished hickory wood floors now. They are so nice in bare feet, look good even when they are dirty and are a breeze to clean. Gotta have the rug by the fridge and the sink though.
Q:How to make tiles?
I'm not at all familiar with tile making using rice hulls, but certainly I'm curious. I've installed multiple thousands of sq. ft. of tile; as well as having sculpted clay to fire in my kiln. You don't state that the glass will be in chip form, or has to be fired/melted. I profess some ignorance but it seems that in some way, the process would require a Forge or kiln, and when and how would the rice hull be infused,,,and more importantly how might one expect Rice Hull to stand up to the same temps as it would take to liquify glass? Q:Laying ceramic tile?
You will need 132 tiles-get a few extra in case of breakage.I would go with 1/4 space or less. They sell 1/8th inch spacers-less grout to use and less sealer.
Q:Cermaic tile installation, Tile falls over air vent.?
I would go with the one that falls with one tile on the vent. then, go to Lowe's and pick up a ceramic tile drill bit. they have a bit that is specifically made for drilling through glass and ceramic tile, a masonry bit will crack the tile. they are relatively expensive for a drill bit because they have a relatively flat diamond coated tip. using this bit you can outline the cut with bit holes. if you drill enough holes, you can simply break the center out of the tile. just take your time and drill plenty of holes or you will crack the tile. I think that it would look cool if the duct came directly out of the center of a tile.
Q:what are tiles for in RuneScape?
construction
Q:Ceramic tile??
No. Unless you put concrete backer board over the vinyl first, then the tiles onto the backer board. The only problem with this is that you would be raising your floor by an inch or so, and could run into problems with door jambs, molding, transitions, etc.
