Q:bent exhaust valve?
that would be caused by high rpm with no load, had it happen in my car years ago, well before i acquired it. vacuum modulator line cam off, car was driven home for about 15 miles at normal speeds (OUCH, 45 in first gear in a 68 gto) bent 4 rods and some other damage that i do not remember.
Q:moderately leaky heart valve?
You'll probably have more tests done to see if you really have a leaky heart valve. It depends on which valve it is and what the cause is. The most common cause is to have a bicuspid aortic valve (two valve leaflets instead of 3). That can cause long term problems, so that is corrected by surgery to replace your aortic valve. Once that happens, you'll be fine. I'm not sure what you have, though, so there's no way to know for sure what your problem is. In general all leaky valves need to be replaced surgically if they're leaky enough b/c they eventually cause the heart to stop pumping well and lead to heart failure. The most common thing is what I mentioned, though. There's always a chance that your test was incorrect. Good luck to you.
Q:How to modify 1986 YZ 125 Power valve?
If you are replacing stock with stock, you don't. I wouldn't. That bike is powerful enough without a bore kit.
Q:i want a cheap solenoid valve
This Site Might Help You. RE: i want a cheap solenoid valve -air pressure of 40 psi only -run on 12v or 250 vac -no need for half open or any of the options i just want it on or off -it will be for a costum use so i dont need any special designs for it any thing will work -it also can be change from gas to water if the gas valves have any problems to...
Q:Is a EGR valve necessary?
It used to be a cheap fix. I haven't worked on the newer vehicles, but it used to be an F-shaped plug, with vacuum hoses, that you could replace in a few minutes. Price was under $20. The biggest problem, then, was decoding the codes! I just looked it up and it seems to be pretty simple, and similar to what I worked on. A small diaphragm valve that runs about $50. Ford would probably charge you $300 for the part and another $100 or so to put it on. The EGR valve helps with exhaust and, to some degree, gas mileage. In other words, if you live in a state with strict rules about emissions, you may fail the test. In proper condition, you may notice a little better fuel mileage. Of course, when I drove a sports car, I noticed that a good waxing helped my mileage. LOL I doubt that the Flomaster would cause a problem. This is a sensor issue that is, or should be, directly related to the EGR valve itself. Of course, I haven't worked on vehicles for years, so... Google this and see what you think. Location should give you some pictures to show where it should be on your Mustang and then you can see if you think you can do it. Then, check the prices. If your state is a pain, fixing it is probably cheaper than failing the emissions test. Besides, the more work you can do yourself, the cheaper it is. The only real difference between you and the guys who work in the dealership is a degree (piece of paper) and a fancy machine. You can do the same things they do.
Q:What do people mean when they say they have a 12 in valve?
A 12 inch valve means it is designed to fit with nominal 12 inch pipe. Most 12 valves are flanged so these valves would also be flanged to match as 12 piping flange. They would also be sized to match the appropriate flange rating as in 125#, 250#, 150#, 300# 600# and so on. As to the opening of the valve that will vary depending on the type of valve. For a gate valve it will be very close to 12 inch in diameter. For a globe valve it may be a bit smaller. In some cases you will see what it called a reduced port valve where in internal opening is smaller. This is more common with large ball valve where the smaller ball and opening makes the opening/closing torque less. These valves also tend to have a venturi shape on the inlet and out leading to be ball so the pressure drop is closer to a full opening valve.
Q:Toilet shutoff (stop) valve problem?
Definitely the tank float valve needs adjusting. Take the tank cover off and look at the water level, should be up pretty high and just below the venting tube. If it's not you need to adjust the valve. One quick and easy way is to bend the rod that is located between the float and the valve. Bend rod down so that the float sits lower in the tank. This should increase the amount of water in the tank. Some valves have a screw to adjust the water level. If this is the case you'll have to screw in one direction to see what the effect is (more or less water in the tank) then make the adjustment you need in the appropriate direction (screw in or out). Not a big deal, you can do it.
Q:I can get my trumpet valves unscrewed :OOOO?
Well on the valves you will see there are caps on the bottom and top of the valve. The top cap (it is located at the top of the valve itself, not the button you press - it is the cap that the button lands on when pressed) you unscrew that and take the valve out to oil it. Just make sure you put it in back correctly, if you put it in incorrectly it will not play properly. Also don't drop or dent the valves as they are very delicate and the smallest dent can damage it. Make sure that when you unscrew it that you only use your fingers. DO NOT use any tools to get it unstuck otherwise you can damage the instrument. It would be best for you (because you're new at the trumpet) to take it to the local music store and ask them how to take care of a trumpet. I am sure they will be happy to show you. Hope that helps
Q:Will a tire go flat if you just take out the Valve Stem Cap?
NO, The valve cap is only used to keep dirt and debree from going inside the valve stem. If dirt or other particles of debree go inside where the valve core is when you air up the tire the dirt could lodge between the core and then it will leak air causing the tire to go flat. To remove a tire valve core, there is a special tool that you put inside of the valve stem and then you unscrew it out. To remove a valve stem you have to brake the tire bead push down on the side where the stem is and with the special tool screw it on to the stem and pulling it out. Reason why you have to brake the bead is that you have to replace it with a new one from inside of the wheel.
Q:P0401 EGR VALVE Problem?
My vehicle is throwing a P0401 code. I was going to replace it, but instead I am going to clean it and replace it. I know the mechanic will want to replace it and charge me well over $100 (I'm seeing the part go for around $52-$55). THe car was recently serviced with the valve cover gasket replaced.
