Q:I want to build a botanical garden in the town I live in, it will be a private land that is not for profit company and open to public for a few dollars. What are resources I can use to get me started on the research for this project, remember its large scale so small garden info isn't that useful.I have found lots of gardening design/plant/etc info but its all for small scale, I am going to be building a several acre garden. What considerations should I think about? How much space? What plants?Legal issues? What about designs, information on design of large scale parks?
That's okorder . Though the site can't replicate the feeling and smells of visiting a garden in person, it aims to be great venue for sharing inspiration and specific designs. The site features web-based home and landscape design software. The goal of the site is to eventually put together thousands of quality garden designs and provide the tools for people to design their own homes and gardens.
Q:u can win a brand new home and not pay anything at all. its a ny home lottery or house lottery. a woman won a brand new home not too long ago in ny and i saw her on tv. she won the home through the lottery.
Are you talking about the contest that Home Garden TV had where the winner got a dream house?
Q:I need a website that will give me a bed room that i can change the color and stuff around on.Thanks
I'm okorder / I can mail you a catalog on CD if you prefer..
Q:i just bought a new house in alberta. they just did the lawn, shrubs and planted a tree. now they are telling me i need to contact a person to come inspect it to make sure it was done properly before they give me my deposit for letting them garden my yard. i forget the proper name for the job tittle the surveyor has so i dont know who to call :'( please help.
umm, the best i can come up with is either: Home inspector OR Professional Landscaper Hope that helps! lol However i don't quite understand why they would give you your deposit for letting someone landscape your yard, i have really never heard of that...
Q:Is there anyone in Chicago who loves to work in the garden?
I'm sure that your husband would love to answer allen's question... anyway, I live in chicago and I love to work in the home garden...IM me sometime

Q:I was thinking about these: mulberry, apple, peach, cherry, or plum.Any suggestions? Also be specific don't just say apple please say what type.Thank you in advance :D
Your question leaves a lot to be desired. Your choice of trees will depend upon why you want to grow a tree in your garden. I'm looking at doing the same thing, but my reasons will dictate what type of tree. I'm looking for something that will provide shade, grow at a medium pace, and not establish too many roots, especially roots that will grow close to the surface of the soil. I want to continue to grow vegetables, but I have limited space, with paved walkways, so I want to make sure the roots don't up heave the walkway. Fruit trees would be nice, but they can be messy with the leaf drop, etc. I don't want a tree that grows into a large tree, but one that primarily provides shade (since I live in SC). I'm trying to provide some shade to my vegetables, because the heat is sometimes too much for my plants. I've decided to go with a crepe myrtle, because it will provide color, and isn't too difficult to maintain. I would suggest you further evaluate your sistuation before deciding what type of tree is best for you. good luck
Q:When I click on download widget on the Better Homes Gardens website, a loud bell sounds and nothing happens. I want to import that widget to my Yahoo! widget control panel.
The bell means that it will not allow you to transfer that Widget into Yahoo! Firewall. It is because Yahoo! is only familiar with itself and only itself downloads. Hope it helps :)
