- Q:im thinking about buying a new bed and want to save some space in my room so i thought maybe a sofa bed. i was just wondering because i suffer from back pain now and then but do sofa beds damage your back in anyway over a long period of time because i would use it as my permanent bed? cheers

- Q:My sofas are really comfortable and they are in good condition. I don't want to spend a lot of money to buy any new ones. They used to be my parents.. so I do not like the pattern or the color. They are reclining sofas. Where can I get a cover for them?? Anybody have any experience doing this? Thanks in advance.
- There are no commercial cover made for reclining sofas. You need to either have them completely re-upholstered, or have custom slip covers made. Both will be more expensive than new.

- Sofa beds come in different sizes. If it is a double size sofa, then a double mattress will fit. You will have to measure it to be sure.
- Q:we received a free sofa with dual recliners the other day. it is in great condition and the price was right. the only problem is a smell of urine. any secrets out there to eliminate this smell?
- you can go to petsmart or any other pet store and get something. they have a great variety. most of that stuff should work great because it's got the right enzymes to break down the urine. the only problem you might have is if someone has already tried to get the smell out with the wrong products. then the smell might be locked in. but there is not only ONE product or brand name to buy, many will work if they got the enzymes. the last thing i bought wasurine gone or something. i really liked it because it had a great smell. whatever you use, make sure you soak the area that smell like urine really good and let it air dry. if you think it might just be topical you might use a spray bottle and soak it that way. but don't hesitate to use a lot! i deal with that a lot because of my 2 cats and 2 rats! good luck!

- I was told by a leather expert at a class that lighter colors can be dyed darker but there is no way to remove a leather dye and lighten it. You could have a slip cover made, or just out it in the room, and change the fabric one (easier), or have a custom back throw made that essentially covers the back of the sofa in a fabric you pick.

- If you have children you would need something easy clean. But if you don't, then something more elegant or stylish would look lovely. Try all the big brand stores such as mfi, ikea etc. Look at the colours of your room and decide on something that would contrast nicley. - why not try some printed curtain fabric with some prints in burgundy pinks, green and peach. I mean some floral or geometrical prints. sheer curtains would look great too. artwork is up to your choice. but make sure it does not clash with the wall color. Another tip use the sofa color on the frame panel.

- Wipe the powdered sugar off with a damp cloth. You can clean your leather with saddle soap. Good Luck!
