Q:What are the uses of these kinds of steel?
Low okorder.com/ You say you cannot find there uses anywhere. These all came up using the simplest of web searches. You really need to have a word with your IT teacher as clearly you are not doing basic searches properly.
Q:what are surgical steel earrings?
Sergical steel means they are earings for sensitive ears. If she borrows them make sure you sanitize them before she wears them.
Q:Titanium vs Surgical Steel in Earrings?
Implant grade titanium is much better than surgical steel. The nickel content in it (which is what alot of people are allergic to) is virtually non-existant. Though most people with a nickel allergy are fine with surgical steel too, its too small for most people to react to. But the odd few people do. Its the same with everything. Good surgical steel is probably better than cheap titanium. But implant grade ti will beat it hands down. And ti is alot stronger, and is also used in surgical impants and as replacement bits too. But a big lump of titanium hip is going to be expensive. If you're not allergic to steel, theres little reason for the extra cost, especially if it's likely to outlive you. Niobium has no nickel in at all. But that really is expensive, and I've never seen any threaded. Any particular reason why you ask? ----- Piercing-wise titanium will be better than steel. Unless they carry some not so great ti. You should be fine with steel though.
Q:I am getting a benchmade mpr (m390 steel) and am unsure if it is a good knife look at the chart below?
From what I understand m390 is a new steel (at least for benchmade) so there doesn't seem to be a consensus on how it performs. Looking at the table, it should be very corrosion resistant. I'd guess it could be classified as a stainless steel. Sorry I don't have more info for you. EDIT: here's a link from the steel manufacturer. I hope this info helps.
Q:Where can I get coupons for Stainless Steel Magnetic Knife Rack?
listed under are a number of them: 5.0 out of 5 stars could no longer be extra effective, March 3, 2006 by applying Denise M. Henderson (Groveland, CA united states of america) stable sturdy shape. seems great. common installation. appropriate length. Magnet appropriate capability. only confirm you place the back of the blade to the magnet first, then turn the knife flat onto the magnet. or you will cut back to rubble the knife blade. 5.0 out of 5 stars purchase it!, November a million, 2004 by applying T. Berktan (Le chef amateur) (Chicago, IL) i admire this knife holder. at first it rather is sanitary. would not take counter area and IT seems SO COOL on the wall. i might purchase it lower back with out hasitation if I had to. 5.0 out of 5 stars Very clever and seems great!! i like it!!, August 24, 2005 by applying Stacy S. Wooten i in my opinion, rather like this knife holder. It replaced into common to place up and seems great on my kitchen backsplash. it rather is long sufficient to hold all my knifes (approximately 8). it rather is a competent, stable magnet, and seems very stylish in my kitchen. i might surprisingly propose this product to everyone searching for a magnetic knife holder.
Q:Question about whetstones and honing steels.?
You're not supposed to use the whetstone alone. It leaves a burr, which the steel removes. If you google using a whetstone, you'll see plenty of info. It is possible to use a finer stone in place of the steel.
Q:what material could replace iron or steel?
Iron and steel has, in lots of cases, been replaced by Aluminium and its alloys. Titanium and composite (Carbon reinforced resin) materials are also used where weight saving and non bending strength is required. Many of these types of materials are expensive and as iron ore is readily available it will be some time before it is replaced on a wide basis. Many other materials are not good where higher temperatures are concerned however there is an increasing use of ceramics being used for say stove tops. Hope this helps.
Q:Is it harmful to cook on stainless steel?
Steel's cool. Its just iron and carbon...... But aluminum's bad for us.
Q:Steel Building Kits...!!?
I put up a 30'x40' Mueller Steel Building from a bolt together kit 6 yrs ago. Fully insulated, 2 10'x10' roll up doors, 1 walk thru door, 3 windows, 2' overhang all around, and gutters. The building price minus the slab was about $9500. The only special equipment was a neighbor's large Farmall with a hay spike on the FEL that we used to lift the trusses in place. Then it was mainly cordless drills to put in LOTS of self tapping screws, circular saw with metal cutting blade, tall ladders, etc. Had help putting up the trusses and putting up the roof panels. Everything else I did by myself. Took about 6 wks, but that was only working weekends and maybe 3 evenings a week since that land is 30 miles from my house. Would have gone a lot faster with at least one helper.
Q:will a stainless steel gun rust?
Stainless steel does not rust. But your Stainless Barrel is not true stainless steel. True stainless steel is a mix of steel and chrome, and the chrome has a certaion percentage of the overal weight.. But a Stainless barrel does not contain enough chrome to be true stainless, so it can rust.
