Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

The body of ball valve is full welded, selects high quality forged material, and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body. This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others, and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter, lighter and stronger.Besides, the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing, makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball. The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball

The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion, and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements. When plate adopted, the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium, but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve. The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium. This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves, and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used, and the cost is cut down.

ball valve seat is floating structure, means the seat can move along the medium direction,so that the seat can fit against the ball all the time.
Double piston effect structure seat of full welded forged steel ball valve
Seat design is special double pistons effect structure,it can ensure the seal wherever the medium flows into the ball valve.

Seat multistage seal strucute of full welded forged steel ball valve
As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring, set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded, which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat; When there is pressure generated from medium, the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference, thus the second seal forms. When the medium pressure is rising. It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation, then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.

Secondary seat seal device of full welded forged steel ball valve
As the above graphic instruction, the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition, medium requirement, seal requirement, etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve, installed on the body, which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force. When secondary seal is required, there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring. The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball, and then stop the leakage.

Q:My 10 year old boy was diagnosed with a leaking heart valve yesterday. The Doctor is trying to get him in to see a specialist asap. She didn't seem that concerned with it,but I don't know if she was just trying to keep us calm about it.How serious is this, and is surgery the only way to fix it,or do they have meds for this condition.
People with leaking heart valves usually see a cardiologist, who is a heart specialist. What they usually do is what is called an ECHO, which is a type of ultrasound of the heart. This can tell how bad the leak is.You have valves in each side of your heart, they function to help your blood flow correctly through your heart when it beats. If the heart valve is not leaking a lot, they usually monitor it with repeat ECHO's. If the leaking is such that you get short of breath, tire easily or other such things, they may recommend surgery. This is usually the only option, there is not medication that can fix the problem. If surgery is needed they will replace the valve. If surgery is needed the cardiologist will refer you to a cardiac surgeon. Ask questions. You need to see a specialist and then they can better explain all of this for you. Be heart healthy.
Q:Can anyone tell me what to do if i know that I have the type of valve stem that was recalled TR413chrome?? Will they replace them for free since they are a recall or do I have to dish out some more $$ to fix the problem??? The company that sold them to me is in Florida (Wheelmax) and I am in Mass. Not sure what to do to avoid having to pay out more $$ to have them replaced...any help is greatly appreciated
well really they should dont see the big deal they are like a buck each... and will take ten minutes to fix.. at any shop some places might cost you 10 to 20 bucks.. and yes if there is a recall on valve stems im sure they would redo them for free... . ive never heard of one been doing tires over 20 yrs.... rubbber gets old and dry about as fast as the tires wear out
Q:What are better valve cover gaskets for a car? Cork kind? Or the rubber kind? Or either rubber/cork kind?
that depends on what shape your valve covers are in. if the sealing flange is good and straight and not bent. then I would use cork as long as you don't over torque the bolts. But if you have a flange that is bent or wrinkled use the rubber ones, they will conform to the shape of the cover and you can tighten them a bit more. if you have a serious leak use the rubber kind. want a little racer trick. take a coke can and cut eight strips out of it that are half as wide as your gasket. place them at the corners of each cover don't go into the corner just up to it. this will help seal the corners better. but I still prefer cork to rubber.
Q:A friend of mine is having open-heart surgery next week to replace a heart valve. He needs to decide whether he wants a mechanical valve or a biological one. He is 28 years old. Which would you choose and why?
Ask the surgeon which would be most appropriate in,If you trust your surgeon let him make the decision if you don't get a different surgeon.
Q:Ok. i just got my trumpet and i barely know anything about it. my trumpet book says, oil your valves but i cant even get them unscrewed, its like theyre glued in there...or maybe im just doing something wrong. Helppp
Well on the valves you will see there are caps on the bottom and top of the valve. The top cap (it is located at the top of the valve itself, not the button you press - it is the cap that the button lands on when pressed) you unscrew that and take the valve out to oil it. Just make sure you put it in back correctly, if you put it in incorrectly it will not play properly. Also don't drop or dent the valves as they are very delicate and the smallest dent can damage it. Make sure that when you unscrew it that you only use your fingers. DO NOT use any tools to get it unstuck otherwise you can damage the instrument. It would be best for you (because you're new at the trumpet) to take it to the local music store and ask them how to take care of a trumpet. I am sure they will be happy to show you. Hope that helps
Q:why do new motorcycles need to get their valves shimed alot? can someone explain how the whole valve adjusting thing works? why do some engine types require more attention? i have owned thumpers my whole life and never really thought about it. i was looking at this like cheap beater bike (hyosung gt250 v twin) and i read the valves need to be checked like 3 times in a short span, wtf??
Your prospective Hyosung may require some more frequent adjustments because the initial wear on its machined surfaces would still be polishing each other off.... surfaces like your hardened valve seats against the sealing surfaces of the valves... Or, the hardened surfaces of the cam lobes against the rocker arms. If your Hyosung's engine has been properly engineered, then its components have been properly case hardened. After their initial microscopic machined imperfections have been polished smooth, they shouldn't have to be checked as often. The Hyosung 250 was designed in Hamamatsu Japan by the same people who design Suzukis. It should turn out to be a great motorcycle. Perhaps frequent valve checks are because it's high revving and air cooled.?.? I owned an air cooled KZ550 Kawasaki, once. It required valve checks every 3000 miles. On the other hand, my wife has a 2007 Corolla. It has a low revving, Double Over Head Cam, 4 valve per cylinder LIQUID cooled engine. It requires valve adjustments every 60,000 miles.
Q:she 13 and shes always sleeping what is a leaky valve there not telling me enough for me to understand and im a nurse tech im scared for her
nothing unless it is a problem like how big is it?does it cause symptoms dont worry till you have to my dad has one and never a problem ask your doctor to know forsure
Q:my EGR valve has gone on my Vauxhall Vectra 2.0 DI LS, 1998, 5 DOOR HATCHBACK, so i am getting a new one next week, what i want to know is, is it an easy job to replace them if so how do i do it? or is it better just to let a garage do the job?
For the most part, you are wasting your money unless the diaphragm inside the EGR valve is broken. It should be easy to remove it, CLEAN IT, and return it to service. Many times the reason for this valve to get gummed up is either from lack of great lubrication (like Mobil One or ELF oil) or your engine is making TOO much carbon and it is sticking inside the valve. Clean your IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE, install Bosch Platinum or Iridium plugs (or Den so Twin Tip). This will burn gas more effectively and prevent the accumulation of carbon in the EGR and also inside the WHOLE engine. The EGR valve is easy to reach and remove on most engines using simple hand tools. Read your VECI map to determine it's exact location. It is vacuum operated. On most engines, I just cork up the vto prevent its from working at all. The inside of the engine remains cleaner, and the engine breathes better, too. EGR stands for exhaust gas reciculation. In other words, hot exhaust gas is allowed to re-enter the intake manifold to reduce emissions. By using the fore-mentioned plugs, emission are more reduced, anyway. Good Luck!!
Q:My fill valve in my toilet is Korky brand and when I take off the cover to the fill valve it shoots water straight up. Is there a way to fix this or do I just have to replace the fill valve.
Why are you removing the *cover* on the fill valve? That thing was never meant to come off. I hate to say it, but I think you just destroyed your valve. Go buy a new one, they are cheap and unless they went through a redesign since you bought the last one, the seating tube coming into the tank doesn't even need to be changed. Lefty loosey the damaged valve while putting slight pressure in the downward direction and it will pop out. Just install the new one and don't forget the overflow tube connection. Throw the rest of the stuff away, you won't be needing it (if for some reason in the future you do need it you will never find it again anyway).
Q:The valves on our 2005 Pontiac Sunfire are bent and need fixing. Any idea of how much it might cost to have them fixed at a shop? Any estimates?
ask different shops for a quote, once you're done start calling junk yards and ask for the price of that engine and how much warranty. you'd be surprised, you can get anything from 1 month to 1 year warranty on a used engine from a junk yard. in any case get the best price + best warranty. if you buy the engine alone from the JY get ready to pay about 350 to 500 just for removing the old engine AND installing the new bought engine. if you wait until winter these numbers might vary. gl
