Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

The body of ball valve is full welded, selects high quality forged material, and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body. This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others, and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter, lighter and stronger.Besides, the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing, makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball. The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball

The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion, and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements. When plate adopted, the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium, but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve. The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium. This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves, and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used, and the cost is cut down.

ball valve seat is floating structure, means the seat can move along the medium direction,so that the seat can fit against the ball all the time.
Double piston effect structure seat of full welded forged steel ball valve
Seat design is special double pistons effect structure,it can ensure the seal wherever the medium flows into the ball valve.

Seat multistage seal strucute of full welded forged steel ball valve
As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring, set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded, which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat; When there is pressure generated from medium, the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference, thus the second seal forms. When the medium pressure is rising. It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation, then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.

Secondary seat seal device of full welded forged steel ball valve
As the above graphic instruction, the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition, medium requirement, seal requirement, etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve, installed on the body, which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force. When secondary seal is required, there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring. The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball, and then stop the leakage.

Q:The water shutoff valvue has a slow leak where the hose connects. Its right were the hose to the tank connects to the shutoff valve.....I also noticed when I close the shut off valve it doesnt stop the water completely. Does the whole setup need to be replaced, and if so, is it difficult? Or will just replacing the hose correct the leak?I figured the constant running wasnt a huge deal if there was no leak because you leave the water on anyways, so there is always constant water pressure there.
This is quite common. If water is leaking on the floor from the hose, replace the hose with one of those user friendly flexible hoses called toilet supply hoses from Home Depot or your local hardware store. It could be the gasket but your hose is probably old and replacing it may save you a small flood. Your shutoff sounds like it needs to be rebuilt, but you as you mentioned, this is not critical because it is on all the time anyway. You can try buying the exact same shutoff, then shut off the main water supply, then take the shutoff apart (without removing it from the supply pipe) and replace the guts of the valve. The part where it attaches to the incoming supply is probably fine, so rebuilding the guts of the valve should work. Use Teflon tape when you connect the new supply hose and be sure to drain the water from the back of the tank with a cup and sponge before you remove the old supply hose.
Q:My mother was dx'd with Mitral Valve Prolaspe 20 years ago....she use to take meds for it. My question is she is having very bad fatique symptoms.. uld this be caused from her MVP getting worse???
first of all, if she is on atenolol (tenormin) then you have to take a pulse before meds and hold med if it is 60 beats per min. if she had trouble with her meds and stopped them for this reason then she should get back on them, and yes mitral valve prolapse is fairly common but is not something you want to ignore or stop treatment for, if she if feeling fatigued she should get checked again, she could have other heart problems. plz have her see a cardiologist ASAP
Q:We have an oil steam system. There are Dole valves - 1A on each of the radiators. We bought new ones. They don't seem to be working. They look like a bullet shape with a screw in (on the side of the bullet) to the radiator. On the top of the bullet is a slit with numbers 1-10 on a dial. A picture we saw on the web showed a plastic piece of tubing in the screw part which looks like it goes into the radiator. If we remove the valve, the radiator gets hot with steam coming out of the hole. With the new valve on, the radiator barely gets warm. We're in Piscataway, NJ 08854. H-E-L-P.
First off these are vents , the valves are at the bottom of the radiator where the pipes come in. Sounds like the vents are either closed or broken. Try turning the adjustment screw if that doesn't work I recomend replacing the with vent from a company called ventrite the valve you are looking for is a vent rite #1. These are adjustable vents used to balance the heat throughout your unit the dial at the bottom is labeled 1-8 start with all of them on 8. Now when the radiators heat up if you find some are getting hotter faster turn those down a notch and check again in a day or so.
Q:hello my names matt and i have a 1997 eclipse 2.0 non turbo with 94k miles and the semi circul seal on my valve cover gasket has a small leak that i see oil dripping and i dont think the pcv valve has ever bin replaced could any of those cause my exhaust to burn oil maby a bad fuel injector? theres no oil in the top of the engine on the spark plugs when i check them all, the piston rings and the headgasket r not worn or cracked so idk what it could be some one please help
the valve stem seals are common leak on these I work with a lot of mitsubishi's
Q:What are a sing of a bad Idle control valve, will this cause bad mpg?
Generally, a bad ICV will either be stuck open from carbon or dirt making the idle stay too high. Or dead which usually kills the engine when put in gear. Mileage would be affected, but if it idles good, it's probably ok.
Q:I got a 2012 peterbilt 386 ...it just came back from the shop a few day ago to get injectors 4 and 5 looked at and repaired ....I'm getting a fault code for injector spill valve and a engine light ....I tried resetting the computer to get rid of the code but that's not it ... uld timeing of this cause the problem ...but other than that it runs like a champ so what could I do to fix this is it time cause I did probably get re timed when they repaired it
The fault for the spill valve is not something you can correct with timing. When they repaired or replace injectors they need to be programed into the computer so they match the other injectors. The spill valve is in the injector and is there to return unneeded fuel back to tank. If this valve does not work you could be over fueling or run the risk of fuel cooking in the injector making a mess of the spray pattern. It should be telling you which injector is throwing the code and if it is one of the two that were worked on take it back.
Q:I bought a Bb trumpet from Ebay (I know, probably not the best idea) and when it arrived it was really good, except the valves. They wouldn't go down (or up) really well, so I oiled them, and it helped, but it still won't go up properly (it might go up halfway, then suddenly stop, then go up slowly). The valves sound like they're scraping the side a little, and valve oil doesn't do much good. I don't know what brand it is, so don't ask. Another thing, is there such a thing as over-oiling?
When dealing with complex and artistic things such as musical instruments, ALWAYS buy form where you can trust, and preferably from where you can test the item out.
Q:Glob Valve or Gate Valve
Gate valves are more commonly used on ships, however any type of valve will work as there really isn't any pressure acting on the valve. Butterfly valves are used in many newer vessels as they are cheaper to purchase. I don't recall ever seeing a ball valve used on a sea chest, nor a globe valve?
Q:emission control valve toyota camry
emissions control valve is another name given for an exhaust gas recirculator valve(egr valve). This valve routes a sample of your cars exhaust gases back into the cylinder to be re-burned and therefore lowers emissions. The ports to this valve become clogged over time and can create performance issues
Q:I have a training I will be attending on Valve actuator and subsequently an exam. I need fundamental knowledge of ROV. What are the types of ROV. The Maintenance Of ROV ? and the different Type of ROV actuators
