1. For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?
—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.
2. What is the MOQ for this tile?
—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.
3. Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?
—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

If you are working with a basement, you have to be concerned about moisture coming up through the concrete. That will lift your tiles very quickly. You might be able to seal the concrete and they can tell you that at a flooring store. The tiles are easy to put down, but you want follow good procedure for making them straight and neat. Lots of websites showing how to do that. I have seen some great new tile products that look like ceramic tile or other natural products. Some use a lock down seam to avoid the problem of the tiles moving apart and showing a gap.

- The number one thing to assist in keeping your floor clean and the grout is a tile and grout sealer. the best one ive used is called 511 impregnator by Miracle Sealents . It is a polymerized silicone which means it seals the pores of stone or tile but also lets it breathe if moisture wanted to come up from below. Other sealers are a coating which down the line could actually trap dirt. After you seal the floor you can poor water on the surface and it will just bead and not sink in to the grout or tiles. you want to apply it maybe once evry six months and they also sell a tile and porcelain cleaner which is a mild soap. - Q:My foyer and hallway is white tile with white grout. I am more vintage/traditional and was going to be using new grout. Are there any other colors besides white that will look good for the grout?
- They missed a step....Use a good clear silicone caulking in the 'crack' where tile and grout meet wall. Otherwise, if for example, someone showers and gets water on the floor, it will get into this area, go under the tile and start to ruin the flooring under the tile. Mold and mildew can also grow in these wet areas. Molding trim only covers the edge of the tile giving it a neater more finished appearance, but it's still cosmetic...to protect, you need to seal or caulk around the outer edges of your flooring. You will also need to use a sealant on the grout between your new tiles as well, or the same problem can occur, as grout is porous and can absorb water and soapy liquids which then go down into the underflooring, and different liquids can stain the grout.
- Q:I have thinset my slate tiles in place, and washed any thin set off as best as I can with water. I can‘t seem to get some of the thinset marks off, how important is this? Also, how long should I let the tiles dry before I can seal them? (I want to seal before grouting). One last thing, my sealer product says to grout 2 hours after sealing? This seems fast...will the sealer be dry enough?
- Ideally you could have sealed your slate before setting (as long as you kept the sealer off the edges of the tiles). This would have made thinset and grout clean-up much easier. You really need to get all the thinset off your tiles. At this point you might need some hot water, a scrungy pad and some elbow grease. If that doesn't do it then you'll need to use a cleaning solution - maybe they have something where you bought the slate (make sure it's safe for natural stone). So after the tiles are thinset free, you can seal - again only the tops of the tile. If sealer gets down the sides your grout will not grab hold as well. Apply enough sealer to coat, but avoid puddling. You can grout after 2 hrs - but you can wait longer if you like. I would seal your grout after it dries as well. Hope this helped... Rich
- Q:Tile setters? I paid someone to tile my bathroom floor using the 1 in hex tiles meshed together in 12 x 12 in pieces. Ive seen that type of tile done before and it each tile looks evenly spaced. The tiles he installed for me look like they were installed in 12 x 12 pieces as the perimeter of the meshed tiles has much wider grout lines than the interior. He says its normal and it happened because the floor is uneven but he installed the hardybacker himself so he should have leveled it.
- Has he grouted already? Sometimes even when they are evenly spaced they don't look right BEFORE the grout, but will look OK when the grout is installed. This is a bit of an optical illusion because there is no backer in the spaces between the sheets. If he has already grouted and they still look uneven then you have a problem. You can try to have them taken out and reinstalled, but then he is going to say why didn't you say something before I grouted. Now if he has not grouted and you want to check the spaces, get a solid object that is the exact width of the spaces of the meshed tiles and place it between the others. If it is too wide in more than one or 2 spots make him fix it now.
