FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

Q:Does anyone have a textured tile floor?
I do our tile the hard way with a big industrial cloth mop and common household cleaner and ours is in pretty good shape. The texture in the tiles will trap dirt in the crevasses a lot easier and that's why I use a heavy mop to get in there and clean.
Q:Do 12 x 12 vinyl stick-on tiles work for bathrooms? Or does water get between the tiles?
No problems...I have them in the bathroom
Q:How difficult is it to install bathroom floor tile? What tools will I need?

Q:Tile for bathroom floor?
That is a two part question. Can you? yes Do you want to? No The reason for this is is yes the tile adhesive will bond to plywood and the grout will set however walking on and prolonged moisture will cause the boards to expand and contract and will result in cracking. Cement Board is the preferred underlayment to tile floor it will not flex or expand as much when applied. Thickness of cement board is really up to you. Home Improvement stores carry atleast two sizes 1/2 and I believe 3/4 (dont quote me on size). Placing cement board is real easy. If you have square footage of the room. And cut witha saw to exact size. Use Tap screws and and cement board filler. One reminder is your floor height will be affected for flooring coming into the room.
Q:tips on how to tile a room in my house?
If you need to prep such as lay cement board or do you have slab to go directly over? Proper prep work is the most important thing. To lay tile , center the room, lay tile out dry. When you get to the wall, if you have a 1/2 tile or bigger, your all set. If you end up with less than 1/2 tile, recenter the middle tile to shift every thing over by a 1/2 tile. Then strike a line. Mix thin set, let it set and mix again. You ll want it to be spreadable but not to thick. The use of the proper size trowel for what ever size tile. Don t spread any more thin set than you can set tile in just a few minutes. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar and check my qualifications there. Q:Replacing bathroom floor tiles?
If you're removing ceramic tiles, you want to make sure that the new ones will bond to the cement subfloor. To check this, after the tiles are removed, acid wash the concrete floor with one part of Muriatic Acid 15 parts of water....BE careful. The floor should sizzle a little. If it doesn't, you will want to remove any adhesive that is still on the floor, and that's not easy! OR, go to a tile store in your area, or Home Depot, and tell them you need an adhesive that will bond to mastic that is still on your cement floor. If you're removing vinyl tile, the existing mastic shouldn't be a problem, but be sure to remove and clean any debris that might get sandwiched between the old and the new mastic.
Q:Tiling kitchen floor question?
You do want to lay it directly on the slab. And treat the slab accordingly depending on the shape of the slab. Cracks need to be treated ( several ways to do this) and any dips or highs dealt with ( if any). The basic work is easy its the hauling of the tile and the thin set bags thats the hardest. Common sense and basic DIY skills is all thats needed. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar and check my qualifications there. GL
Q:need help with tile sealer...?
If you are referring to silicone sealant, you can buy silicone remover.
Q:granite flooring over tile?
If they are vinyl tiles stuck to the subfloor and you put another substrate, such as 1/2 cement board, yes you can. If the vinyl tiles are over another type subfloor, such as luan, then no, the vinyl and its substrate must come up and then the proper subflooring put down over the subfloor, correctly and then tile. If its a self stick tile, over slab, it must come up. If its a glued down vinyl tile over slab and bonded well, there are proper ways to put ceramic over this. If your doing ceramic over ceramic, and the ceramic is down well and no signs of cracks or loose tiles, again there are proper ways of putting ceramic ( or granite) over ceramic. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar and heck my qualifications there. GL
Q:How can I Remove stain from my Kitchen ceramic Tiles?
Water and vinegar. Hi I'm Nick the Tile Man Check out my web site for free informative ads. You can purchase and tile cleaner and sealer but buy the good one not a cheaper one that last a few months.
