Q:why can i get my bench press stronger?
You're front deltoid is very important for bechpress. Work on shoulder presses and incline bench. Working the secondary muscles is very important. Also try heavier weight w/ only a few reps[so 225 doesn't feel heavy] Make sure you have a spotter. Use negetive reps where your partner helps you lift the weight but you let it down yourself very slowly this will strenghten the other muscles needed to benchpress more. But you only want to do this every 3 or 4 workouts its hard on your muscles and your body will need time to heal. Try 315lbs to start. Then to get in use to alot of reps use about 175 as many times as you can to get your muscles in use to alot of reps. When I was in highschool I did this and at 235lbs I benched 225 lbs. 41 times.
Q:How many press up should I do?
Pushups or press ups are a calisthenic exercise and mosts people can rapidly improve to the point that they can churn out lots of repetitions. In which case there is no longer enough resistance going on to allow you to get a bigger chest. If you want to increase muscular size, you need to do progressive resistance exercise...Weight lifting where you can constantly increase the weight as you grow stronger. Updog is right in that you may become more defined, but that's about it....
Q:Bench press machine good weight?
You shouldn't be using machines you should be using free weights machines train your muscles for situations that dont exist in real life. You should be using a weight that you can actually finish your sets with.
Q:Bench press question.?
Regular bench press and incline press, work upon your pectorals. They increase their build and bring your chest into shape. The front curls work on your biceps and the back curl on your triceps and latismusses.Your exercise schedule must contain each of these items on daily basis.
Q:Cross stitch pressing?
You do exactly what you just said, mine have always turned out beautifully flat after pressing.
Q:Does this Chest Press machine work the upper chest?
No, it wasn't designed for that. However, the machine will work the entire chest with the emphasis on the mid pec. If you want specifically target the upper pec, use an incline bench and do flys and dumbbell presses. And, just the opposite for the lower pec....a decline bench. You'll feel the burn in the anterior deltoid if you're working the upper pec. You'll get a more diverse and thorough chest workout if you do all three...flat bench, incline, and decline. It's also worth mentioning that the exercise and equipment only get you in the ballpark and what has the final say in what muscles are being worked is the brain. For example, a bench press uses both the pectoral and the triceps as major movers. How much of the motion is pec and how much is triceps can be controlled in part by your brain. It requires that you understand the muscular activity and can control the muscles individually when at rest. Flexing the muscles individually at rest and with no motion is one way to help train your brain to understand how to contract the muscles individually. Then, if you focus on working the stronger muscle (pec) more fully throughout reps, you'll help prevent the triceps from failing prematurely and keep you from quitting before you have a good pec workout. Where I worked out many years ago we called that putting the mind in the muscle...mentally focusing on the target muscle so it gets the greatest possible workout while saving the weaker supporting muscles for the last reps. Good luck and good health!! ♠
Q:Squats vs. Leg Press?
The squat is an excellent exercise, but I would always recommend the leg press or hack squat for their safty. I use the hack squat myself, never try to squat without a spotter.
Q:Anyone ever operate a flexo graphic printing press?
I am a former 4/color stripper, cameraman, platemaker. This is how it was done before computers. I have some knowledge of computerized stripping. I have been in the business for over 30 years. An offset press is an offset press. They all operate pretty much the same way. With water and ink. Flexo printing is done for labels that are put on bottles. Believe it or not the image is distorted in prep. This is because the label wraps around a cylindrical or somewhat cylindrical container. Believe it or not the distorted image comes out looking right because of the shape of the container. An assistant pressman's responsibilities will vary from shop to shop but you pretty much are helping fill ink fountains, putting up paper, hanging plates, setting color, and you get to wash up the press among other things. It has been awhile but I do miss it. If you are good you can write your own ticket to a certain extent. I am older now and it was kinda fun thinking about this. I hope at least some of this helps. Good Luck.
Q:Struggle w/Bench Press ?
ya this is typical you wont be able to bench your body wight right of the bat.. lol it might take a while but before you know it youll be doing fine.. follow your trainer. although i don't like trainers because all they want is you're money but for now it fine. do push ups it gives you a 10 percent better bench press strength. but you should not just do bench press thats really pathetic. you dont wana be walking around with a big chest and boat arms right lol.
Q:How can you obtain press pass for photographers?
bad idea bro_doggle. you could have a law suit stuck to your you know what. if you aren't looking for a full time job with the press, try to get an internship at your local newspaper. you won't have the hours of a full time job; maybe just make your availability the weekends. regardless, you'll get experience you need and the press pass you want!
