You should keep your breathing calm so you don't freak out, haha. If you're very terrified of needles, have one of your friends hold your hand while doing it and talk to them while doing this to keep your mind off of the piercing. It should be done very quickly though, so don't work yourself up too much :)

Q:i just got it like 3 days ago and its no signs of infection and im just worried it might get that way. ive been reading online about people who got infections and people who had all this crap happen. what do i need to do to stop one from coming i mean i use contact solution and cotton swabs wipe it down with wet ones and clean it when i sweat and turn it twice a day.. im always careful about keeping it clean im a neat clean freak but is there anything else i can do to stop infection from coming

Keeping it cleanis the only thing you really can do. Insteas of contact solution you could use a non iodized sea salt soak (1/8 teaspoon of sea salt to 8 oz of warm water). But you are going to want to stop spinning it. Spinning it could rip your fistula and prolong the healing time of the piercing

Q:I have some scaffolding that I would like to use to build a temporary slide to my swimming pool. The slide I would like to be made out of the side parts which are the ones like rectangles with bars going across them and I have a variety of poles. I would then like to put a slippery tarpaulin on to the frame.But how would I hold the tarpaulin up, because the metal poles will be too short? So that if someone slid down it they would not just burst through the tarpaulin and hit the floor after hitting around five metal poles!

Why would you even consider something like that? Obviously you kids and your family use this pool, why put them at risk making a temporary slide with scaffolding. Not a good idea.

Because the scaffold is not moving, we can assume that the net Torque acting on the scaffold equals zero. Net Torque = 0 torque = Force x distance (d) Use the left end of the scaffold as the center point. This will eliminate the Torque caused by the left wire (d = 0, so torque = 0) There are now three forces creating torque on the scaffold. There is the weight (m x g) of the scaffold, at 3.5m from the left end. m1 x g x 3.5m There is the weight of the crate, located 1.4m from the left end: m2 x g x 1.4m These two torques are countered by the torque caused by the Tension (T) of the right wire, located 7m from the left side. T x 7m The sum of these torques is zero. You can, but I can think of two reasons why it might be unwise. Firstly, reinforcing bars are ribbed to provide a key between the concrete and the steel, whereas scaffolding bars are much smoother. This leads me to believe that scaffolding bars, weight for weight, wouldn't be as effective as reinforcement bars and you wouldn't have as much reinforcing action as you think. In extremis, you could end up with an under-reinforced concrete beam which will be brittle - reinforced concrete is usually deliberately slightly over-reinforced so that the behaviour close to failure is ductile, as it gives you time to run away. Secondly, scaffolding bars are hollow and reinforcement bars are solid. In reinforced concrete, the alkalinity of the cement paste helps to protect the reinforcement from corrosion - the reason for specifying a minimum cover - but the inside of your scaffolding bars would not benefit from this and so I'd worry about the risk of shortened life due to rusting from the inner face. At least when reinforcement bars rust they tends to spall the concrete cover off, which you see happening.
