Q:You see cranes on the floor which rise about 50 metres, but sometimes, when building high sky scrapers, I see cranes on the 70th floor or the 80th floor. How do they put the the crane so high up there when it can only go up high around 60-70 metres?
The cranes are built in the elevator shafts and moved up as needed during work progress.
Q:OMG! a phoba of crane flys, and there are 5 on my celling right now!!! What do I do, will the move and fly around eventually? I can't kill them, they are out of my reach, and if they start moving, im runing the %^$ outta my house. Will they die by tommorow? or will they just hang there?
The spiders in your house will kill them and eat them. If you don't have spiders, just wait. They will come in for your crane flies. If you must get rid of them before the spiders do the work, use your vacuum. The crevice tool will suck them up and crush them in the bag. I had one in my house this morning. It was hanging around my east window as the sun was coming up. I used a towel to guide it toward the open patio door. You do need to be up about dawn for this to work.
Q:I swear I'm a giant crane fly magnet and whenever there are crane flies within a mile of me they'll find me and chase me, and I'm dead terrified of them. I noticed that there are more and more of them since the beginning of April. Does it have anything to do with the rain? When will they go away?
It's like they have no control over their limbs, and flutter onto you. We had one in our living room called Henry who my mum tried to kill because we are all so scared of them, and she disabeled it. It had a squashed leg. I felt sorry for it. It's proably because of global warming that they are still here.
Q:In what circumstances should a tower crane be demonstrated by an expert?
Three, lifting and installation, demolition works(1) use of unconventional lifting equipment, methods, and lifting weights of a single piece in excess of 100kN and aboveHeavy lift works.
Q:i want to know about the origami cranes
im pretty sure the origiami craft originated in Japan. i'm not too sure, but i did look it up, and it said japan. so im guessing thats right.
Q:I've looked on the internet and I haven't found anything so far. The paper on it is due tomorrow...arrrggghhhhh...
Hi, Briisthe! Just go into Google and type - what is the migration route of the whooping crane? Then click on the article - Journey North Whooping Crane Migration Then click on the maps and all will be revealed.
Q:Question says it all. On the Yahoo homepage, there is a breaking story that you can not click on, stating the NY fire department are responding to a building collapse, but when you try searching it, only a story about a crane comes up in Yahoo search engine. Anyone know if it's 2 different stories or the same thing?

Q:I know, do you know?
They build it on the ground, raise it up with another crane, and then lift the counter weights up!
Q:What is the calibration value of a tower crane?
Do you mean the calibration value of crane lifting moment? That should be the product of the maximum magnitude of the tower crane and the corresponding maximum lifting load.
Q:I want this as a tattoo but I want to know what it means. Why type of tree is it? What do the symbols translate into?
The kanji / symbol (character of Chinese origin, also used in Japan) is the kanji for 'crane' (the bird, not the construction site vehicle!!)
