Application of Fiberglass Fly Screening

The fiberglass insect screen mesh is chiefly used in the home or busines building for insect preventing purpose as window screen, door screen, retractable window & door screen, porch screen, mosquito screen, etc. But you may also find it creatively used in pastures, orchards and gardens and construction.

 

18x16 Fiberglass Fly Screening is used primarily for aluminum window screen and aluminum screen doors. It uses  11" diameter threads with 18 threads per inch vertically and 16threads per inch horizontally. Openness 59%, light transmission 69%. We use a pvc coated fiberglass, charcoal in colour this allows for the best vision through your window, coloured mesh obstructs the view.

 

18x14 Fiberglass Fly Screening is a stronger mesh using a .13"thread in an 18x14 weave, 45% opennes, and is  recommended for larger openings such as porches, pools and patios or where added strength is desirable.

 

20x20 Fiberglass Fly Screening is a tiny mesh that offers the ultimate in insect protection and recommended for "No-See-Ems" and other very tiny bugs.

It is widely used for thermal insulation, water proofing and crack resistance of internal and external walls of buildings. With alkali or alkali free glass fiber yarn as raw material and woven glass fiber gridding cloth as the base material, exterior wall thermal insulation gridding cloth (glass fiber grid cloth) is a new type of alkali product made by coating acrylic copolymer liquid and drying. It is featured by stable structure, high intensity, good alkali resistance, anti-corrosion, crack resistance, best enhancing effect, easy construction and operation. It is a kind of new building materials for thermal insulation of external walls and mainly used for internal and external surface reinforcement and crack resistance in cement, gypsum, walls, buildings and other structures.
Q:Each unit project of alkali resistant gridding cloth should send several groups for inspection.
The inspection length should be less than 3 if the material is used in 20000 ㎡ public buildings, residential, commercial buildings with the same construction, same production manufacturer and same process construction and less than 6 if the area is more than 20000 ㎡.

Thermal insulation mesh used for external wall includes two types: glass fiber mesh and steel mesh. Fiberglass mesh: Fiberglass mesh is woven from fiberglass and colated with plastic. Fiberglass mesh is divided into two kinds of middle-alkali and alkali resistant: the middle alkiali mesh is generally used for thermal insulation of coating and finishing, weighing 160g/m2; the alkali resistant is used for tile finishing, weighing 290g/m2 or more, but it has to contain zirconium dioxide and titanium dioxide. Steel mesh: Steel mesh used for exterior wall thermal insulation is chiefly to fix tiles. In fact, the alkali resistance of steel mesh has not been proved. Steel mesh is divided into hot dipped galvanized mesh and cold galvanized mesh.

The length of the material for inspection is less than 1.5 m. Q:The difference between the gridding cloth and iron gauze What materials should be used for thermal insulation of external and internal walls?
The current technical standards (JG) for thermal insulation gridding cloth of external walls: alkali resistant fiberglass mesh warp weft tensile breaking strength: 750 n / 50 mm, alkali tensile breaking strength retention rate: 50%, weight/㎡: ≥130 grams JG alkali resistant fiberglass mesh warp weft tensile breaking strength: 1250 n / 50 mm, alkali tensile breaking strength retention rate: 90%, weight/㎡: 160 grams, or breaking strength and alkali resistance strength retention: as all know, the breaking strength and alkali resistance strength retention, important performance: breaking strength, glass fiber gridding cloth and glass fiber count or weight Currently the glass fiber gridding cloth for thermal insulation of external walls is about 130 grams/㎡ with relatively lower quality and 160 grams/㎡ with standard quality. With platinum glass fiber as base material, gridding cloth is coated with emulsion with good alkali resistance and high tensile resistance in the bidirection of warp and weft, thus featured by smoothness and reducing the mortar amount.
Q:What is the performance of wall mesh?

It is recommend to hang mesh, because the working life of house is a little far, it is usually brick or sand wall, those wall are easy to chap. Because it can not be avoided the brick air flow . the patching can extend the time to occur cracking, but can not guarantee that it will totally not occur cracking, hanging mesh is certainly better than not
Q:For puttying in decoration, anti-cracking fiberglass mesh or dacron cloth is widely used on walls. What are the correct constrcution order and method?
For board joints, use white latex strip of cloth to attach bar-type anti-cracking cloth at the seams, and once it's not firm, brush some white latex again.
