requirements of BB93 of Building Regulations for acoustics in school buildings and
are Class O fire rated hence meeting the Fire Regulations as well.

Product Advantages:

Saves headroom space because exceptional noise absorption effectiveness is achieved by low (30mm) material thickness.

Surfaces can be emulsion painted to any colour without significant loss in noise
absorption. Increase savings due to fast and easy installation.Lightweight and therefore are ideal for adhering to ceilings, which do not have a very high load bearing capabilities.

Meets BB93 standards for school acoustics as well as common areas in flats for Building
Regulations.

Reinforced edges for increased durability.

Q:What is pu line? What is the difference between pu lines and gypsum lines?
PU line refers to the production of raw materials with PU lines. PU is the abbreviation of Polyurethane, the Chinese name for the polyurethane referred to as polyurethane. Only need to simply modify the formula, you can get different density, flexibility, rigidity and other physical properties.
Q:Noise proof/insulate apartment ceiling?
If you are certain that you are going to be annoyed by the neighbors and will have to invest a lot of time and money in the apartment just to get it to an acceptable state, WHY MOVE IN THERE?
Q:Ceiling light fixture lost that tin foil like layer. Is that bad?
Most likely, the insulation is fiberglass and not a fire threat. However, the foil backing is to deflect light and heat downward, so it is best to replace, and generally easy to do.
Q:Hand-created texture on walls and ceiling?
I just finished painting my family room. Same thing - heavy texture on ceiling and walls. The tape does not work. I like a sash brush - 1 1/2 tapered. My favorite is the oval shape sash brush which I can't seem to find new anymore - but I have some old ones. Don't put too much paint on the brush - start a little away from the ceiling and work your way up. I usually go over the same area 3 to 4 times to get an even line. Good luck!
Q:do u hav experience of fibreglass insulation in ceiling, does it discourage rats.?
Fiberglass insulation wo'nt discourage rats, in fact rodents love it to build their nests with it. As far as the electronic sirens go I've heard that they do work, but I'm not sure how good they actually do. I do know that you cant use them if you have hamsters or guenea pigs for pets. Hope this helped you out, good luck!
Q:What is the candle effect?
Spontaneous combustion, is blood shortage, and charcoal increases.
Q:How to insulate basement walls and ceiling with framing already there?
For the walls use fiberglass kraft faced(paper on one side) and no plastic or unfaced insulation with plastic. R-11 or R-13 for 2x4 walls. For the ceiling, I wouldn't bother with it. Instead add a radiator to the basement area and add a new pump and thermostat to create a new zone. Otherwise the basement would only be heated when some other area of the house needs more heat, this usually makes the basement too cold or too hot.
Q:we have numerous recessed light fixtures in our ceiling. Is fiberglass insulation flammable?
Fiberglass insulation will not burn. If it is the blown in loose fill kind, then there should not be any paper or anything attached to it to make it flammable. You should have what is called a light dam around it to keep insulation from covering the top of the light. It is actually quite common for insulation to be in contact with the sides of the light but it should not cover the top. Of course, if you have what is called and I.C. rated recessed light, then it has it's own protection built in. These are usually pretty rare and not used by home builders generally. We always play it safe and put light dams around every recessed light we find. This light dam is a class a fire rated piece of radiant barrier taped together to form a tube that is taller the the insulation around it so that insulation can not easily be pushed over the top or blown into the top of the tube if installing new insulation.
Q:What are the active lime use?
First, the preparation of lime mortar and lime milk coating Lime mortar from lime paste and sand, water mixed together, can be used as the wall, the ceiling of the plaster. Lime milk is made from lime cream and is often used as a paint for interior and ceiling. Second, the preparation of lime and triad soil Lime: lime + clay. Triad: lime + clay + sand, stone or slag and other fillers. Can be widely used as the basis of the building, the road or the ground cushion. Third, the production of carbonized lime board The calcined lime board is a lightweight sheet made of ground lime, fibrous filler (such as glass fiber) or lightweight aggregate (such as slag), and then made by artificial carbonization. It is suitable for non-load bearing inner wall panel , Ceiling and so on. Fourth, the production of silicate products Grinding of lime or lime powder and sand or granulated blast furnace slag, slag, fly ash and other siliceous materials by ingredients, mixing, molding, and then pressure or high pressure steam curing, can be made of dense or porous silicate products The Such as lime sand bricks, fly ash bricks and blocks, aerated concrete blocks and so on. Fifth, the preparation of clinker-free cement Will have a certain activity of the material (such as granulated blast furnace slag, fly ash, coal gangue ash and other industrial waste), according to the appropriate proportion of lime with the common grinding, can be obtained with hydraulic cementing material, that is No clinker cement.
Q:fiberglass fell fr a ceiling fixture while checking wiring. how dangerous is this?
it is there to keep the cold air from the attic out of the house and to keep the heat from the light from getting to flammables in the attic
