Q:Please name a kind of metal, the definition of that metal and a band of that kind of metal
No, it is not..
Q:I'm just getting into listening metal and wanna know the different styles. What other kinds of metal are there. And what are the differences. What genre is Behemoth, Slipknot, COF?
I don't know what you mean by metal other than heavy metal or just metal in general, so... Progressive in metal is differentiated from other metal by several things. You can have more than just progressive metal too, you can have progressive black metal (Klabautamann, Subarctic Heir), progressive death metal (Opeth, Death), progressive [heavy] metal (Winds (Nor)), progressive thrash metal (Turbulence (Grc))... etc. Progressive metal often has clean passages, time signatures other than your standard 4/4 or 6/4, and musically complex melodies. That's not to say that the melodies are complex from a playing standpoint, but that in music theory standpoint they're complex and/or unusual. Alternating key changes, especially ones not typical like going by 5ths, but instead changing keys to the third (I.E. instead of going from C to G (5th), going from C to E (3rd)). Often times the rhythm arrangement will be as musically complex as the melody. Progressive songs also tend to be much longer than traditional songs, where as say a regular/tradition metal song would last 3-5 minutes, an average progressive metal song may last 5-10 minutes. Progressive metal lyrics also tend to be more conceptual, and albums tend to be more conceptual, often times telling a story, with each song being a different chapter of the story. Progressive metal also tends to have a lot of shredding in its music. Mostly what sets progressive metal out is its experimentation in compositional complexity, often taking influence from classical music and jazz. This is not to be confused with avant-garde, which tends to lend its experimentation to using non-standard instruments, or using standard instruments in non-standard ways.
Q:I already know manowar and church of metal but id appreciate knowing as many true metal bands as possible thanks =)
The most reactive metals are those from the first and second group of the periodic table. Most of the transitional metals also react, but some of them not (gold, platinum, mercury). The ability of metals to replace hydrogen in acids forming salts is one of the periodic properties of elements.
Q:what metal?
Just because you don't like it don't mean it's fake, I don't like them either but they are most definitely real, just shitty sub genres.
Q:I looked up metal in a dictionary and I only found 7 definitions, but one was certainly missing. Here is what I found:1.One of a category of electropositive elements that are usually whitish, lustrous, and, in the transition metals, typically ductile and malleable with high tensile strength.2. An alloy of two or more metallic elements3.An object made of metal4. Basic charachter:METTLE5. Molten glass, especially when used in glassmaking6. Molten cast iron7. Printing type made of metalI thought that one other definition was definitely missing. So why do you think metal gets so much disrespect from so many people, and how can the metal artists get more respect from the public.
All That Remains Karate High School (my bestie's is love with this band at the moment)
Q:urgently need a list of strongest to weakest metals
Full metal gearbox does NOT mean the gun is full metal. With gearboxes it is important to have a metal one unless you are buying a gun you are going to fling around.
Q:You can name more than one band if you want to, just don't make it extensive...And it doesn't have to be a favorite, just a band you enjoy listening from each sub-genre. (I might be missing some sub-genres, you can add if you want to).I'll start:Progressive Metal: Dream TheaterDoom Metal: While Heaven WeptBlack Metal: AgallochThrash Metal: Vio-LenceDeath Metal: PossessedGlam Metal: Motley CruePost-Metal: CallistoSludge Metal: BaronessStoner Metal: Electric WizardPower Metal: HelloweenGothic Metal: Virgin BlackSymphonic Metal: HaggardMetalcore: Misery SignalsBQ: Favorite band out of your list?BQ2: What do you think Y!A needs more of?BQ3: cow______.
corrosive metals: aluminum iron tin non corrosive metals platinum nitinol (nickel titanium alloy) gold yes acid is corrosive
Q:Meliah rage and atrophy(thrash metal) is really underrated. They deserve way more credit for metal than cannible corpse which is death metal. Because thrash is better than death metal nd if you disagree well I don't give a **** cause you're wrong
The Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance has the main Metal Gear Solid 2 story as the original release of the game except that there is a lot of other extra side missions and extra content. Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence is the same as Metal Gear Solid 3 except that it has Online gameplay and a changed camera angle in the main story of the game.
Q:I go for metal music.
Death Metal is perhaps the most aggressive subgenre of Metal. The difference is instantly recognizable. Growled vocals, blast-beats, and all that jazz.
Q:I remember that the fusion of punk and metal was called Crossover in the eighties.
i by Meshuggah, its 21:00 min long and by far the HARDEST thing you will ever try to learn on any instrument.. it may take you a while to even enjoy it if your used to kids metal
