Calcium Silicon Powder

1. Description:

Silicon Calcium Alloy is a stable compound; it is supplied in the form of solid with approximate melting point of 1245°C and boiling point 1800°C in normal atmospheric pressure.

Solubility in water reacts with moist gas and water.

Silicon Calcium Alloy is a potent deoxidizer and desulfurizer utilized in the production of high grade steels. Although Silicon itself is a powerful deoxidizer, Calcium is by far more powerful. In addition, Calcium Silicon is used to control the shape, size and distribution of oxide and sulfide inclusions improving fluidity, machinability, ductility, and impact properties of the final product. Calcium Silicon can be obtained in lump or powder form. The most widely used method for intergraded steel applications is in the form of cored wire. This is mainly because calcium has a low density and high reactivity in the ladle making it difficult to introduce and retain in the melt. Cored wire eliminates these variables.

3. Application:

(1) Silicon calcium alloy is an ideal deoxidizer and desulfurizer.

(2) CaSi is generally used in manufacturing steel of high quality and low carbon, and the same as the production of stainless.

(3) CaSi is also served as a starting material for other special alloys, such as nickel base alloy and titanium base alloy.

(4) Silicon Calcium Alloy can also be used as the inoculant of cast iron and the additive in the production of nodular cast iron.

Q:I thought Slipknot was death metal, everyone says it's nu metal. So, what exactly is the definition of death metal? I thought it was heavy metal where the vocalist screams.
Basically, metal that was formed to bridge progresstive rock with metal, stealing the traits of both. It is more deatiled than ordinary metal, with odd time signatures that provide a unique effect. Read the article:

Meh, something bad has always happened to metal... Glam in the 80s Grunge in the early 90s Groove in the mid-90s Nu Metal in the late 90s Metalcore in the early 2000s Deathcore in the late 2000s Somehow metal has always bounced back... and even during those eras, there have always been good bands within bad genres (except deathcore, I have yet to hear a deathcore band that doesn't blow). Although I see a bit of a problem with deathcore... When glam died, people stopped buying glitter and hairspray. When grunge died, people threw out their flannel... What's gonna happen with all these deathcore kids who are tattooed from chin to sphincter and have holes in their ears the size of quarters? You really think these douche bags are gonna be able to transition into a life of normalcy after the **** they've done to their bodies? fc00.deviantart /fs39/f/2008/3... By looking like that they've unanimously decided to proclaim to the world I have nothing to contribute to society so I'll have to devote myself to music, but the crap they write is one of the most ******* awful sounds that has ever qualified as music. Hell, I can't decide what would be harder: for one of these jokers to get a job at Wal-Mart, or to make the transition from deathcore to decent music. It literally scares me that deathcore might have more staying power than the other ephemeral pseudo-metal genres like glam.
Q:music, rock, metal
never let metal jewelry touch water. any kind of liquid. so take off metal jewelry off when you know its gonna be hot. - the sweat - i think metal jewelry not only smells like metal, but i think it rusts and turns brown.. so be careful! oh and the smell, put your jewelry in a tiny box of perfume samples, or a box that smells like perfume for about a day or two. (not only will it not smell like metal, it smells like your favorite perfume!, if your using your fav. one) if you wash it the smell will still be there, so don't waste your time washing it.
Q:what is the best metal band out there?
Natural diamond is created from carbon through the application or high pressures and intense (volcanic) heat over a long period of time. Diamond is considered a mineral .. not a metal .. .. and not a rock. The gemological definition of rock is the mechanical integration of more than 1 mineral. As an example, lapis is considered a rock.
Q:i'm doing a lab report on identity of metals i need to write about the process of metal identification. i kno density and streak is included in there but that's not enough. what are some properties or processes used to identify a metal ?????
Thrash Metal: Angel of Death - Slayer Speed Metal (basically the same thing as Thrash): Holy Wars - Megadeth Heavy Metal: Aces High - Iron Maiden Power Metal: Mr Torture - Helloween Alt Metal: Sugar - System of a Down Nu Metal: People = Sh!t - Slipknot
Q:Anyone know of any good metal bands that play with orchestras?
Thrash Metal
Q:like Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Incubus...DEATH METAL ROCKS
Almost all metal exists in a polycrystalline state. Metallic crystal's particles have positive ions and mobile electrons, consist of a metallic bond, and have a fairly high melting point. But if you are asking is ALL metals are crystalline. No
