Q:Hello everyone. Here‘s the situation: I have changed the oil, spark plugs, air filter, and recharged the battery and the bike starts up and runs just like new. The tires have been inflated to optimum (both tires instruct to inflate to 40 psi) and the chain is freshly lubed. It runs great except at about 38-42 MPH where it then develops a wobble. If I take my hands off the bars it will start to wobble violently very quickly. This only happens around the posted speed range. Any higher or lower and it cruises nice and smooth. Does anybody have any idea why this happens. I am open to all suggestions. Also the tires appear to be aligned and I have 10,000+ miles on the bike. Thanks for your help.
You bought some cheap tires, my mom did the same thing and her tirs make so much noisedepends on how long u had them maybe they will exchange
Q:What happens if you use Mothers foaming all wheel/tire cleaner on motorcycles?
Mothers Foaming Wheel Tire Cleaner, as it is formally called, is a powerful formula designed for factory/OEM coated factory wheels on cars and trucks -- this includes the following OEM/factory coatings on original equipment wheels on virtually all vehicles over the last 20-plus years: painted, clearcoated, chrome plate and chrome clad. This product does an excellent job at cleaning the surfaces for which it is intended. Motorcycles often do not have coated wheels, but instead polished aluminum, rough cast, billet anodized, or a combination of those and other finishes -- so this cleaner should be avoided on those surfaces as staining may occur either directly on the wheel or on adjacent hardware, hubs, cables, lines, etc. There is no safety concern at all -- it is purely cosmetic.
Q:I am running a 130/70-18 front on my v-star 950. I want to get some white wall tires but I can‘t find any in this size. I find many white walls in a 120/90-18. My question is; what is the main difference in these sizes. Is the 120/19-18 a wider tire or a taller tire? I think it will fit fine but I would like some reassurance before ordering.
specific, it extremely is going to although the a hundred ninety would be flatter around the tread and extremely slightly shorter , it extremely is going to slow your turn in speed slightly, and reason you to exert slightly greater attempt to hold the bike at a given lean perspective even though it extremely is going to in good shape. precise now i'm working one on my FZ6, have confidence me while its wiped out i'm going returned to a one hundred eighty!!! i assumed the FZ1 got here with a a hundred ninety inventory? maximum liter motorcycles do.
Q:FYI, I have a 2007 Yamaha 125z with only 30k km mileage. Do anyone ever ride this far? Looking forward to listen some tips from those who have been travel by motorcycle
Though I don't know how to ride a bike, but i think your yamaha should be able to reach 110km/hr quite easily so it won't take you very long to reach here . beside, on the way there are so many places you can take a rest while enoying some refreshments (I mean admiring some pretty girls walking by .)
Q:I‘m 5‘2 small. I have an 750cc Honda Shadow. Am thinking of getting a Trike, Spyder or a sidecar for the Honda. I would like to take my kids out for a ride, they are 10 and 11. I worry about dropping the bike with them on it, so that‘s why I‘m looking. I‘m a lone rider, hubby doesn‘t ride. Question is, is 750cc big enough for a sidecar? Do I need to get bigger bike? Was thinking of getting a Goldwing Trike, but like the sidecar, just because you don‘t see them on the road that much. Any links would be very helpful.
Have you tried Soft Scrub? Another suggestion would be to head on over to Home Depot and ask the salesperson in that department what works best to clean your sink. Plastic does stain, so you have to be careful at what gets poured in the sink.
Q:Hello,So i just recently replaced my front tire, and after the replacement i noticed a bounce in the front. It kinda feels like bump bump bump the runs smoothfor about 4 seconds and then does it again. It increases with speed and isnt really noticable under 40. I watched the guys put it on and they did balance the tire however the psi on the tire was 36 and max pai is 32 on the tire so i bumped it down to 30 psi. Still does the boince though. Its not crazy hard but noticable . Should i just take it back and have em look at it or is there another solution to this problem.
It might be out of balance, look for a yellow dot on the tire about a half inch solid spot in yellow. It is the balance dot and should be in line with your valve stem. If it is a tubed tire maybe the tube is creased or bunched up inside the tire.
Q:Motorcycle cuz i‘m just tired of cars!
