- You could use trunking for the cables, and for the control boxes if they are in the house you could hide them under a box which you could decorate to look like a parcel...personally I would paint it, but drill some holes for ventilation.

- I have not seen or read from any source that RCA cable can be used for power. It is designed for audio connection and video connection only. The wire are not designed for use with electrical power connection, it will over heat and the wires will melt. Hope this will help you out.

- Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. Install it, hit run and problem solved. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.

- First, I would get a filter that you trust, I have Stingray 15 by Elite, and the cables of that are submerged as well. Although the cables are wrapped in a waterproof and insulated tube so no water cannot get in and the electricity cannot get through to the water and kill the fish. So the cables are not a problem if you have a trustworthy filter.
