Electricity would likely come from a generator, running on the same fuel which moves the ship. Diesel, bunker oil, or maybe coal. The bad of water pollution depends some on the kind of pollution. Mercury tends to concentrate as it moves up the food chain, until people who eat lots of fish become at risk for brain damage. Enough carbon dioxide in the water makes it more acid, which kills lots of things in the ocean and means less for people to eat. Lots of nitrogen (nitrates nitrites) may lead to overgrowth of plants, which then die and make a dead zone where not much of anything lives. Besides dead oceans not making any fish to eat, there is the possibility that a large part of the world will not be capturing carbon dioxide, which would increase global climate change (the greenhouse effect)

Q:I have a (2306A-E14TAG3) PERKINS diesel engine electric generator, every two hours it turns off by itself. The generator room is well ventilated, opened from all sides, while the exhaust is free for atmosphere without any extensions from the muffler.- 66% used as part load.- Note that this generator is a new generator. ambient temperature is almost 30 degrees celcius, humidity65%.Please help me with this issue, because every two hourse i used to cool the radiator from outside by water! Q:Did some searching, and found little other than single, model specific, manuals (either paper or on CD). The paper manuals are $50-60 each. Single model PDF manuals on CD are about $20.Does anyone know if a comprehensive set of shop service manuals is even available for Yamaha Portable Generators? (gas and diesel) I don't mind paying, but I don't want just ONE manual, I want 'em all. That way I don't have to go through this again when a different model Yamaha comes into my shop. Not only if there is an earthquake, but the way they deal with the radiation doesn't work sometimes, and then it goes into our water supply. Also, if a truck with the used up elements spills or something, that spot could be radioactive for a long time because the elements they use have long half-lives.

You can convert wood, bark, leaves, corn husks, cow dung or ordinary garbage to a variety of liquid and gaseous fuels. Use the fuels to power a gas turbine or internal combustion engine; soon, you may be able to use them in a fuel cell for direct production of electricity. Gassification is now economical for units as small as 50 kilowatt; smaller units are rapidly becoming both efficient and affordable.

yes as long as the generator has been retro-fitted to use biofuel and not petroleum. A diesel generator would do this best Probably algae would be the best thing to use as you can get several generations a month from it. hemp takes a long season to grow and really only the seeds would have enough sugar to be used to distill biofuel. Beets (which you can get several crops a season from as they are fairly fast growing) would be far better than hemp for fuel as you want high sugar or starch crops (starch can be converted to sugar). But why run a generator on biofuels when it would be easier to run it on solar or wind

Q:I recently purchased a book on how to make a hydrogen generator that mentions either gas or diesel. However common sense tells me that a diesel engine requires some sort of lubrication such as cooking oil etc. I have tried to send a email but cannot get an answer. Does anyone out there know if hydrogen will work in a diesel engine without burning the valves out quickly.

The engine could could be thoroughly redesigned. Diesel engines paintings as a results of fact whilst compressed, gasses warmth up. whilst they warmth up sufficient they explode. With the engines of today, the hydrogen could explode way too early and not produce any smart skill. Hydrogen could be run through a gas engine although- much less exchange ought to be achieved. BTW, the place will this hydrogen be coming from? maximum hydrogen today comes from organic gasoline, which could be utilized in diesel engines.
