Using vegetable oil as a diesel fuel can and almost will always cause some sort of damage in the long run. But to answer your question, yes it will work. You might want to thin it out a little with some kerosene or a little diesel fuel since vegetable oil is a little thicker.

The answer to your question is, No. Fq* v*B*sin(theta) F: Magnetic force. q: Charge inside the conductor (in this case, that is causing the current). v: Velocity of charged particle. B: Magnetic Field. Theta: is the angle between the velocity vector and magnetic field vector (angle between v B). So if the current is in the same direction as the magnetic field, the angle between (v B) is zero or 180 degrees making sin(theta)0 which means F0 It experiences a force only when the current is perpendicular to the magnetic field or at least makes an angle theta with the field that is not zero or 180. what this means is there has to be a velocity component normal to the magnetic field.

Red diesel is agricultural, no tax or tax reduced. The Red is only a dye to distinguish it from tax paid diesel. However using it illegally can result in very hefty fines if caught. Used and cleaned vegetable oil can be mixed with diesel, actual proportions I'm not sure of, but I think 3:1 oil to diesel. There are probably sites that explain in more detail. However why it has to be used veg. oil I don't know.

You know, it not that bad, so not sure why you say they vulnerable to black outs, sure we have some, but not that often, ok? Here the thing, all electric power on island generated by diesel generators, and some time they break down, and infroastructure very suseptible to dampness, so when it rain, like rite now, we gonna get some power outages, but I neva see a true black out where all power out in city, that kinda thing, ok?
