1. Structure of Calcined Bauxite Description

Bauxite Mineral Used for Aluminum Making Originated in China

Bauxite (aluminous soil; Bauxite) is also called the alumina or bauxite; main ingredients are alumina, hydrated alumina containing impurities, is an earthy mineral.

2. Main Features of the Calcined Bauxite

Bauxite Mineral Used for Aluminum Making Originated in China

Calcined bauxite is one of the principal ore of aluminum. Calcined bauxite contains hydrous aluminum oxides and aluminum hydroxides, formed through the laterization of aluminous rocks in tropical and subtropical areas .Calcined bauxite is obtained by calcining (heating)superior grade bauxite at high temperature (from 85OC to 1600C) .This removes moisture there. By increasing the alumina content, compared to an alumina content of about 57%to 58% in raw bauxite, calcined bauxite has an alumina content of 84%to88%.The heating is carried out in rotary kilns.

Q:Are the rubber insulation materials are refractory materials?
No
Q:Graphite and other carbon materials may be oxidized to CO or CO2 at high temperatures. But why can they be refractories?
There is no contradiction for this. Any substance can be combustible, but different materials have different ignition points. There are many types of graphite. Pyrolytic graphite has a much lower ignition point. Therefore, as long as it reaches at a certain temperature, it can convert into graphite. Mostly, in practical applications (such as brake pads will add a certain amount of graphite), graphite is required to have refractoriness of below 1000 ℃. Graphite can serves as both the combustible and refractory material. So, it can be used as a fire-resistant and high-temperature-resisrant material because graphite (lamellar graphite) has a ignition point of at least 3000 degrees in an oxygen free condition. The above information is for reference only and is offered by Xin Ruida Graphite Company.
Q:The difference between refractory and thermal insulation material
In simple terms, refractoriness is different. The refractoriness of refractory is high while that of insulation material is low.
Q:How many kinds of refractory materials are there in the EI?
I suggest that you contribute articles to foreign SCI journals for the odds are better, and generally the articles that fill the bill will not be rejected. The traditional refractory materials can contribute to EI journal. If being rejected by EI journal, you can also contribute to Russia's journal Industrial Ceramics and Refractories. I didn't contribute to the Journal of Wuhan University of Science and Technology, the receiving cycle is almost 3 to 4 months. Though the impact factor is low, domestic EI journal is not so good, it is still SCI journal. This is my own experience, please take my advice. The best journals are the Journal of the American Ceramic Society and the Journal of the European Ceramic Society, I heard that they are not bad. But the best domestic EI refractory material journal is the Journal of The Chinese Ceramic Society. It is very long, but if it belongs to your university, it is another pair of shoes. Journals now all want to have materials about functional ceramics, and they don't want Chinese articles, if your English is not well enough, you can choose Ceramics International and Japan Ceramics but they have strict manuscripts reviewing standards.
Q:Which basic refractory is better?

Q:I want to consult the fire resistant level standards of external wall thermal insulation materials.
1, The building with the height larger than or equal to 100m, should have the A-level combustion performance. 2, The thermal insulation material of the building, with a height larger than or equal 60m and less than 100m, should not be less than the level B2 combustion performance. When using the level B2 insulation material, each level should set horizonal fire barrier zone. 3, The thermal insulation material of the building, with a height larger than or equal to 24m and less than 100m, should not be less than the level B2 combustion performance. When using the level B2 insulation material, each two levels should set horizonal fire barrier zone. 4, The thermal insulation material of the building, with a height less than 24m, should not be less than the level B2 combustion performance. When using the level B2 insulation material, each three levels should set horizonal fire barrier zone. I hope my answer will help you. Thank you!
Q:What are the main materials in concrete fireproofing material?
it can be roughly divided into: fire-resistant coating for steel structure, finishing fire retardant paint, tunnel fire coatings, concrete fire retardant coating, cable refractory coating. fire-resistant coating for steel structure is divided into: Indoor ultra-thin fireproof coatings for steel structure, indoor thin steel structure fireproofing coating, indoor thick steel structure fireproofing coating, outdoor ultra-thin fireproof coatings for steel structure, Outdoor thin steel structure fireproofing coating, outdoor thick steel fireproofing coating. I hope it can help you. Hope to adopt my opinion Thank you! )
Q:About the use of horseshoe glass kiln refractories
the lower portion of advanced clay brick, the lower portion of magnesia-chrome brick arch - high-purity silica brick; flue - clay brick; breast wall--33 # fused zirconia corundum brick (with shrinkage); fused zirconia bottom --33 # fused zirconia corundum brick (with shrinkage); regenerative chamber- the upper part of sintered magnesia-chrome brick, cooling section 33 # electric smelting no shrinkage fused zirconia corundum brick; the wall - the melting section 41 # no shrinkage fused zirconia corundum brick (including 41% of zirconium; the lattice- superstructure of high purity magnesia brick, the same below); small stove --33 # fused zirconia corundum brick (with shrinkage). It can be said that it is the maximum configuration, if the funds is limited it can be downshift appropriately.
Q:What's the requirements of fire-fighting criteria of heat insulating material?
Specific provisions go as the following article 8: roof grassroots adopted duration of fire resistance is the non-combustible component that shouldn't less than 1.00 h's. Its roof insulation materials should not be below B2; Otherwise, the combustion performance of insulating material should not be below the B1 level. Article 9: The junction of the roof and wall, the insulation layer around the opening part of roof should use the grade A thermal insulation material to set level fire-fighting belt that width is not less than 500 mm. Article 10: the roof waterproof membrane or flammable insulation layer should adopt incombustible material to cover.
Q:Can anyone say something about what A-level fire-proof decorative material is?
The major products are material monomer A-level and composite A-level, now a lot of B-level material is wrapped in calcium silicate board. The foam cement overall composite is level A, such as phenolic aldehyde composite, as well as some of the foam paddings, monomer A-level includes rock wool, ultra-thin insulation panel and the like. But there are few products with real sound A level qualification. Many manufacturers are playing the edge ball with A-level fire rating examining reports and B-level system detection reports and records, but this situation will not last long, which will soon be clear.
