Q:how do you inspect for bed bugs?

In the early stages of an infestation, bed bugs will be found around the seams and tufts of the mattress, while later on, they’ll spread to cracks in the bed frame and then to gaps behind baseboards, pictures, window and door casings, wallpaper, and other similar shelters. Look for the insects, their cast skins, and eggs near crevices. Check pillowcases, sheets, and the mattress for bloodstains, smears, or flecks (the sign of their feeding). When their populations are high, you may notice a pungent, sickly-sweet odor that’s smells like raspberries. Examine the room thoroughly, moving in a logical pattern. Use a flashlight to peer behind and underneath furniture and woodwork. Look under all items that are attached to or against the wall. Check possible hiding places such as seams, creases, tufts, and folds of the mattress and box spring cracks in the bed frame and head board underneath chairs, couches, beds, dustcovers between the cushions of upholstered furniture underneath area rugs and the edges of carpets between the folds of drapery or curtains in the drawers of night stands, dressers, etc. behind the baseboards around door and window casings behind electrical switch plates under loose wallpaper, paintings, posters, etc. in cracks in the plaster in telephones, radios, clocks,and similar places

Q:I have an old twin bed and I really want to get a queen this year. Is bedding for it much more? What size bed to you have and what does your bedspread look like? Do you like it?

I have a full size bed and a queen sized comforter, I like it cause it hangs down a little more where full sized ones show a little of the boxspring. Some bedspreads are designed to go all the way to the floor or have seams or trim that is meant to line up with the corners of the mattress, those may not work as well.

Q:Standard room, double room, single room, how many beds are there?

The standard is intended to have a few beds and independent, is the mainstream standard room in this hotel, but most of the standard room is two beds; double room, is a room for two people, usually two beds; single room, only a bed, but most of them can live a for people.

Q:Anyone who has, or their children have, a captains bed...was it a good investment? Im getting my 4 yr old a bed (currently in a toddler bed)...i found a captain's bed i really like, but it is $349. It is well made, and sturdy, but i was really only planning on spending maybe 300 total, including mattresses. Now with this bed, plus bunky board, and mattress i will be at over 500. Is it a good investment? Did you notice them being sturdier than just a headboard/footboard? Thumbs up or down? Thanks!

I've never paid that much for a captain's bed. My daughter has a captain's bed now and totaled, the mattress, bedframe with 4 drawers and bedboard the entire set up cost only $250.00 You might want to check Ikea...

Q:I plan on buying a bed that measures 87 inches wide 82 inches long the mattress measures 80 in. long 76 in. wide. The bed is a platform bed king size and the mattress is a memory foam. I cant find a mattress with the same measurments as the bed. This is my first time buying a new bed. Thanks in advance.

Platform beds are always larger than the mattress size.
