Q:Any advice on purchasing a high chair? ?
look for a model that will sit on a chair, floor, or table. they're cheaper don't take up as much space. they will become a handy booster seat or TV chair for an older child.
Q:Do you need help to install a chair?
No, I can install it myself. But thanks for the offer.
Q:How to reupholster dining room chair?
wood was one of the first materials worked by early humans. Microwear analysis of the Mousterian stone tools used by the Neanderthals show that many were used to work wood. The development of civilization was closely tied to the development of increasingly greater degrees of skill in working these materials.
Q:Where can I find a folding papasan chair?
A okorder.com/
Q:In the WWE, what is a Chair Match?
Its the same as a tables, ladders, and chairs match except with no tables or ladders.
Q:wavy lounge chair?
I found it on E-Bay, but it was too expensive.
Q:In the Chairs match at TLC PPV only chairs could be used?
I'm sure its no DQ. and i doubt they are scripted to use anything else.
Q:do i understand this correctly? no power chairs for disabled?
As already said - there is no health plan yet - so nothing is set. BUT, if you read what Obama has wanted the reverse is true. Obama does want to change the way power chairs are authorized - but the rules will be different, not harder or less hard. Currently the rules are unfair. People who do not need power chairs at home - only when out in the community are unable to get them through medicaid/medicare. So a person who lives in a very small house and can set it up to hold onto furniture to get from place to place - and whose home is too small for a power chair - cannot get one, because it is required that you need them at all times to get them paid via Medicaid/Medicare. Obama has stated that is unfair and it should change.
Q:Office chair wont stay down?
I don't know what make and model your chair is, and thus what features it has, BUT... most of these chairs has a pneumatic cylinder in the support column, and for adjusting seat height, a LEVER beneath the seat, usually near the right front corner as you sit in the chair. To use this type of adjustment, you press the handle upward against the bottom of the seat, and THEN sit on it, forcing the seat down. When the seat is down, or at the desired elevation, release the handle, and the seat should stay there. If you want the seat at a higher level, remove ALL load from the seat, press the release handle, and a spring should lift the seat. Then when you have the desired height, release the handle and the seat should stay at that level. IF the seat is raising all by itself when you're not sitting on it, I suspect that the adjusting VALVE is not seating properly, and allows air back into the cylinder, and the spring raises the seat [sort of like magic!!!!]. Turn the chair over and check the valve [if it's not concealed] and look for lint or debris which is keeping the valve from fully seating and sealing the vent hole. IF the chair is new, I recommend returning it to the place you bought it and REQUEST REPLACEMENT on the basis that the chair is DEFECTIVE. If it's not new, then it's a matter of either cleaning the valve, or if it's not blocked, then repairing it so it can seat [and seal] properly.
Q:Fixing a desk chair .............?
You are wrong about using a glue. But then glue is not the right word anyway. Use a material called PL Premium Construction Adhesive. Tube section at many locations. Just don't spend much time breathing it and do not get it on your skin. This adhesive is used to stick most anything to anything - forever. Builders and masons have used this stuff for decades. The old joke is that PL will stick a Volkswagon to a brick wall. How strong? Well, if you use PL to stick two large boards together, you will never be able to break the bond - even with an axe or a ten pound sledge. The wood will be smashed to pieces and the two adhesive faces will still be solidly stuck together. As it relates to your work, I have used it to repair runners on rocking chairs and legs that have snapped apart. Still going thirty years later.
