Q:What is a good gardening beginners magazine to read?
Garden okorder.com/
Q:What kinda cage?????
though if you could get bigger, you should. what kind of hamster are you getting? syrian or dwarf? edit- since it's a syrian i'd honestly say nothing with a lot of tubes. my guys always ate them and syrians get big to squeeze through. they can do it but it is really tight. your best bet either the second link i posted or your idea of a 10 and topper. though i'd suggest something other than cardboard. that'll get nasty fast under pee. you could use fleece and just wash it.
Q:How can i get a water flower at home or garden?
I am assuming you mean an aquatic plant like lotus or water lily. If that's the case, you need a container that holds water, so it will grow. You can use anything from a bucket to a decorative pot. Put in mosquito dunks or mosquito fish in the container to avoid mosquitoes breeding in the stagnant water.
Q:I am looking for a stuffed zucchini recipe from the original (1930's) Better Homes and Garden Cookbook ?
Here is the recipe from my B H G Cookbook that I got in 7th grade cooking class. That would have been about 1950. I hope this is the recipe you are looking for. It sounds delicious. STUFFED ZUCCHINI SQUASH - BETTER HOMES GARDENS 6 medium zucchini 3 cups soft bread crumbs 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 small onion, minced 3 tablespoons minced parsley 1 teaspoon salt Dash pepper 2 beaten eggs 2 tablespoons butter or margarine Wash zucchini, cut off ends; don't peel. Cook in boiling salted water for 5 minutes. Halve them lengthwise, remove pulp with spoon. Combine pulp with bread crumbs, cheese, onion, parsley, salt, pepper and eggs. Fill zucchini shells. Dot with butter; sprinkle with more cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
Q:Spicy , Lamb, Peas and Mint can someone please give me the recipe it was on Better Homes & garden tonight?

Q:What evergreen plants do I plant in my garden?
Where do you live? Which Zone? You need to find out. Also, you need to observe how much sun your perspective garden gets each day. The north side of your house will be in the shade most of the day, for instance. The term evergreen technically applies to any plant, bush, shrub or tree that stays green all year round. So, you need to be more specific. Do you want a green bush all year long, or do you want flowers? How hot does it get and how cold where you live? Go to your local nursery. They'll be glad to help you.
Q:Manure for fertilizer??? Can you use this for a small home garden?
Animal fertilizer is wonderful and farmers have been using it for years. We always put the manure from the horse and cow barns where it would do the most good. It is very mild compared to chemical fertilizer and rarely burns the crops. My mother's fig bushes always produce the most abundant crops and the flowers around the house love it. In some countries they use human fertilizer, but I think I would draw the line at this. We never had a commercial chicken house but that fertilizer works well, but is stronger than cow or horse. When I buy fertilizer I get the chemical because I get more for the money and I don't over fertilize. Use the manure if you like, it won't hurt anything. Good luck.
Q:How do you get rid of negative energy in your home/apartment?
You have to follow some vastu guide lines.
