Q:Are desk chairs made still that have only 4 legs?
Yes... you can still get desk chairs with only 4 legs, and no arms. You can find them at department stores, office supply stores, etc. (OfficeMax, Office Depot, Sam's Club, Staples, Target, WalMart, etc) I will say this much.... a chair with 5 legs is more stable than a 4 leg chair....less likely to tip over. When I have a choice between the two... I get the 5 leg chair. Another option might be to consider a kitchen/dining chair. Happy Shopping
Q:what does it mean to dream of an electric chair?
When you turn on electricity in a dream it means a favor you have done in the past can now be called in. Killing the man in the electric chair shows there is sudden opposition to one of your plans and you mean to fight for your belief in the plan. A room full of people show you are not sure who is responsible for your problem or who you can trust.
Q:Can you paint a fabric bean bag chair?
There's spray paint specifically for fabric.
Q:Chair covers at our wedding?
Absolutely unnecessary. I looked at using them - I also loved the look - but that money can be spent SO much better elsewhere. Seriously. People won't even really notice what the chairs look like.
Q:where to buy patio chairs?
How much are you willing to spend? To get a quality set that will last for years, I would check out Pier 1 Imports, Crate and Barrel, or Pottery Barn. Most of these stores are now marking off patio furniture, as the season is ending. Even so, the shipping prices can get ya if you have to shop online at these stores. If you're a bit strapped for cash, check Wal-Mart (though they might be short in the outdoor furniture department past the month of July). If you're lucky, you may be able to find a set at an estate or garage sale (where my family was able to find an outdoor table and chair set). Also, there's a secondhand furniture store in my area, so if there is a similar outfit near you, I'd give it a look; you never know what you might be able to find.
Q:How can I market my chair massage business?
Starting a corporate chair massage business can be a smart idea, for lots of reasons. For one, it's a great marketing tool for any new massage therapist, or for those who are looking to drum up new business. Moving across the country and need to gather a fresh batch of clients? A corporate chair massage business might be the key to meeting new clients and getting your name around town.
Q:Anyone have a wooden high chair?
I have a wooden high chair, but I don't have a pad for it. I don't think pads are really necessary. It's easier to keep clean without the pad. If you don't want to pay $44 on one though try making one. You can very easily make one for less than $10.
Q:How can I re cushion a chair?
I would use foam, wledbond, plywood, string, buttons and fabric. First measure the base of your chair at the seat and figure out the hieght you would like the parsons chairs to be. If you chair is 18 wide at the base, and you want them to be 24 high, then you would need your plywood to be 14 x 21 high {approx.}. You can get this cut for a fee {usually} at any lumber or home improvement store. Take the lumber and attach it to the chair with weldbond and clamps {and l have no idea of your chairs but weldbond works on metal and wood} or anything that will hold it tight while it hardens. Let this be glued firmly and completely dry...for extra security you can tie with rope {it will be covered with the foam} . Get some 2 {or more} thick foam and cut it so you have one long strip that is 50 long by 28 wide. Now on the inside seat part of the back of the chair, take a staple gun {or if you have little hands like me, use a nail and hammer} and attach string every four inches or so in a grid layout} Now take the foam and make holes with a knife or sizzors to line up with string. Take your weld-bond and spread it evenly over the plywood {be generous} front and back. Take the foam and lay it beginning on the inside bottom edge, pulling through the string as you apply it to the glued surface, bring it over the top, and then down the back of the chair, you will have excess on the sides and final bottom edge, but this can be trimmed later. leave to dry on the floor lightly tie and hold in place with string. Take fabric and cut to the same size, drape it in the same manner, making holes and pulling through string Attach with upholstorers nails. Tke the string and attach big beautiful funky buttons. They will look fabulous!!!
Q:Can you discribe in detail what a chair is?
A chair has to have 4 or more legs of any length, let it be individual or off of a single pedistal from the seat, otherwise it would be a stool, with no legs it would be a seat, AND a chair also has to have a back otherwise it also be considered a stool. So a chair has to have a back and four legs or more in some way. I have never see a 3 or less legged chair. Recliners also has at least four feet it sits on. Even rocking chairs have four legs on a set of rockers.
Q:How is it safe to fit a light in a chair?
I would not do this. I see too many risks involved. Keep the two separate. The only one I would consider is one that runs off batteries - none that plugs into the electric lines.
