Q:Cars and motorcycles pass by . You counted 26 vehicles and 88 tires. How many motorcycles passed by?
0. I saw a truck go by with a load of old tires. And according to Common Core, this answer is 100% correct.
Q:Ready to change the rear tires. Before and after are 4.00-12 vacuum tires, but now the rear tires were significantly wider than the front tread, repair master said no wide, pedal regardless of front and rear tires, is it? Another 4.00-12 vacuum tire morning how the new card? 160 a so expensive
The front wheel tires are to prevent the left and right sides of the slide. The rear tires are much better than the front wheels.
Q:I‘ve been searching and searching and can‘t find anything that matches a rear tire for my inherited 1982 Honda Custom CM250C. It is listed as 110/90-16 or 110/90S16 - which would be like a 4.25 tire or MP85. Of the few tires I can find on bikebandit and other sites, they all say front tire. I just really want a generic cheap tire to get this learner bike going. I did find the matching sized tubes, just not the tires. The FRONT tire is a 3.25S18 4PR (translates to about a 100/90-18, which I can find).
JC WHITNEY claims 3 different models of tires especially chosen for your motorcycle, and indeed I think they chose a fatter tire for the rear. It's a slender reed, but I think I'd go with it and the Kenda tires. Cheng Shin Barracuda, Street Tread, And Kenda K671 Cruiser tires 130/90-16 Rear K671 Cruiser ST Tire This is speed rated to 130 mph, $58 They have front and rear tires specified. Hope this helps. I took mine to the dealer and said put some new tires on it. Got a fairly nice set of Cheng shins and Tubes though my rims will accept tubeless.
Q:So I have a Yamaha Virago Motorcyle, the rear tire is a 130/90-16. I want a 130/90-19 for my front. I‘ve shopped around and the closest was a 110/90-19. I‘ve seen Virago‘s with equal size tires for front and rear and it looks sweet.
The bike won't handle right with that size tire on the front. Just because it's cool and someone has done it doesn't mean you should follow. You are right, it's going to be a tough size tire to find. My three favorite tire retailers don't carry that size. Probably just as well.
Q:When buying tires for a Motorcycle can you adjust the size along as it fits the same rim size?
Not if you wish your bike to handle and control as the engineers and designers of the motorcycle had intended. They spent a ton of time, money and energy determining what tire size would be best, you should trust their findings.
Q:and not a factory reject. it‘s on ebay and all the seller is saying is that it looks new. is there a published list of recalls on motorcycle tires?
wel if you have worries dont buy it really i wouldnt motorcycle tire dont last that long to start with three yrs if one doesnt ride bike much maybe dry rot i wouldnt risk my life and a bad tire would you you can order bike tires on line or buy from any bike shop that woul dbe smarter and last longer as well easiers on the skin too
Q:What will be the dimensions?
How about actually measuring the front forks and rear swing arm for actual info. Understand Understand Understand THE wheel rim is Rated for NO larger than 1/2 wider tires b4 good chance of side wall Blow OUT.
Q:I have a 1978 Honda CB 750K and I‘m trying to Cafe Racer it out. What are the best tires in terms of traction and mileage for a bike of this size and style? The roads around me are pretty curving, so account for nice turning.
no it does not if you wash it properly
Q:i ride a 08 kawasaki vulcan 900 custom and i cant seem to find a white wall rear tire wider than 180mm . is there one out there?
depends on what's contaminated. if there's some rust or something, it can plug one brake line and keep that brake from relaxing
Q:i am selling a motorcycle tire on ebay and had a guy from Canada asking me what it would cost to ship a tire there. he gave me code of some sort and i have no idea what it is. it is A1B 1J1 anyone know whagt it is and how much it would cost to ship there? my zip is 54601.
That's a Canadian Postal Code. You should take the tire to Kinko/FedEx or to a UPS store. They can weigh it and calculate the exact charge.
