Q:I have no issues with motorcycles. I actually think they are very cool. I own one as well. I live in a pretty bad neighborhood. There are a lot of kids who were badly influenced at a young age and think they are from the hood. There is this one kid who has a motorcycle and has no respect for others. He just drives in circles around the neighborhood while the whole neighborhood is trying to sleep. This is from the middle of the day to the middle of the night. It‘s very awful. This kid has no remorse for the people around him. Does anyone know the easiest way to pop a motorcycles tires? This kid needs to be taught a lesson.
Call the police. Simple as that. Get all the other neighbours to call to. Thats what the police are there for.
Q:Ok so i just bought a cb360 to learn on, but the rear tire doesn‘t give me a lot of confidence cuz it keeps feeling like their is no grip back there. I cleaned the tire n still it feels the same. Oh and it didn‘t feel like this before
Did you do the obvious and check the tire pressure?A low tire can cause bad handling.Just looking at it is not a judge that the pressure is good. After that i would check the swingarm bushings and wheel bearings.
Q:My motorcycle wants to weave, and one of the tires vibrate when I give it some juice. Whats wrong?
Check your king pin bearings or tension of them. The king pin is the shaft going thru the neck bearings and is the shaft where the forks mount to (thru) the frame. If the shaft nut is out of factory torque your front end will feel very off and not good. The amount of 'off' needs to be actually very little to feel strange. If you fight curves and feel a wobble, have this setting looked into. If you have a steering dampener, look at it and check for tightness or being worn out if it is a mini shock absorber kind. Get the bike off the ft wheel and pull, shake, wiggle and lift your ft end. If ANY play is felt, fix it! The side to side, left to right movement should feel snug tight, fluid NOT just a flop either way You can check your wheel bearings this way as well. There should be NO play what so ever, anywhere, in the front end of a bike. Period!! Like a car's wheels, their should be NO wag, play or lose feeling. Next could be out of balance tires or lose spooks Yes, spooks can and do get loose. If mag wheels, check for balance. Your rear tire should be looked at as well. The axle barrings should be tight and the tire NOT having any movement other than around the axle and this should be tight and fluid like. Believe me, if the rear tire or axle is off, the bike is off and the ft end can feel off as well.
Q:What size tire (in inch measurement) would I need for an 80/80R16 tire?
the tire you're describing is as such: 80 is the section width in millimeters, 80 is the ratio of sidewall hight to section width (.80*80MM) and 16 is the rim size in inches. This is a VERY narrow, small tire for an automobile, or a motorcycle tire. This is not a bicycle tire. A common bicycle tire size would be something like 2.25 * 26 for a mountain bike or 700*23C for a road/racing bike.
Q:Motorcycle tires printed on the TUBETYPE said what it means
That you have a car with a tire inside the tire
Q:how to change a tire on a Harley Davidson motorcycle?
Grab your Harley Davidson tools and remove the Harley Davidson NUTS from the Harley Davidson axle after you have placed that Harley Davidson on a Harley Davidson hydro-Lift. Refer to your Harley Davidson Shop Manual to what to loosen first in the proper Harley Davidson approved way, (eg. - rear Harley Davidson wheel - ) than proceed to the next Harley Davidson part Added Wade - Way Too descriptive about the family cat, poor thing!
Q:what size tube for a 140/80-17 motorcycle tire?
Thats not what i was asking nasty nate6695 talk about the easy way out
Q:I just bought a motorcycle and when I got it home I discovered that the front wheel will turn all the way right and back straight again, but not leftdoes anyone know why this might be? thanks
Let me guess, you drove it home and it was OK. Turned it off and now it is right turn only. Sounds like you accidentally actuated the fork lock when the wheel was turned to the right. Try re-inserting the key, turn it to the on position and see if the forks will turn left now. The lock position on most is counterclockwise to the left, beyond the off position.
Q:I had a motorcycle tire the other day just go out on me, it was 2 months old and had less than 200 miles on it, I didn‘t have anything stuck in my tire, and I really couldnt‘ tell you what happened, all I know is there‘s a huge straight line cut in the tire. Anyways, Michelin says they‘ll replace it no charge if it‘s a defect. So what exactly is a defect that could happen, and what could be an explanation of what I‘ve experienced? I‘ve never had anything like this happen before. A nail in a tire or something else is pretty common, but this is new to me.
It could be a flaw in the manufacturing of the tire. This would possibly form a separation. What this is the inner liner comes loose from the tire carcass and air seeps in and cause a lump. Did you have any vibrations before it went? Also you could have ran over something that sliced the tire. Hard to say without looking at it very closely.
