Excavators are used in many ways:
Digging of trenches, holes, foundations
Material handling
Brush cutting with hydraulic attachments
Forestry work
Forestry mulching
Demolition
General grading/landscaping
Mining, especially, but not only open-pit mining
River dredging
Driving piles, in conjunction with a pile driver
Drilling shafts for footings and rock blasting, by use of an auger or

Hydraulic drill attachment

Hydraulic excavator capabilities have expanded far beyond excavation tasks with buckets. With the advent of hydraulic-powered attachments such as a breaker, a grapple or an auger, the excavator is frequently used in many applications other than excavation. Many excavators feature a quick coupler for simplified attachment mounting, increasing the machine's utilization on the jobsite. Excavators are usually employed together with loaders and bulldozers. Most wheeled, compact and some medium-sized (11 to 18-tonne) excavators have a backfill (or dozer) blade. This is a horizontal bulldozer-like blade attached to the undercarriage and is used for levelling and pushing removed material back into a hole.

Q:I notice some guys have longer nails on their pinky finger than on other fingers. Why?
Most of the time it is to scoop coke by druggies.
Q:how can i safely and smartly excavate a hole for a wet water well, if the depth is to be 200 and the diameter is 100 ?
These is a dangerous job. Most everyone uses drilled or driven wells these days. In the old days dirt was hauled up by the bucket.
Q:aslo has any one used Excavator clay burrowin substrate for their leopard geckos if they have please tell me the feed back.
the only moss interior the cage could be in its laying off field< era !!. interior the wild they stay interior the dessert .Moss do no longer improve there . i do no longer care what they do interior the puppy shops . it somewhat is in basic terms to get you to purchase issues you do no longer desire so as that they are able to ring up sales. Moss and moisture interior the enclosure as an entire will bring about fungal and bacterial growth and possible the shortcoming of your puppy. Please examine the leopard gecko care sheets and spot what experienced keepers making use of for the sake of your pets
Q:I have a 6T 590 cummins in a case 888 excavator, it runs good but the fuel is in the oil. I changed the lift pump but the fuel is still in the oil. What should I do???? Is there a seal in the injection pump that can be changed without having the injection pump rebuilt?
Yes the shaft seal in the injection pump can be changed without rebuilding the pump, actually pretty common, not a job you want to do yourself if you don't have the knowledge though, in some cases it takes a special tool to align and compress the seal upon installation, and if you get in there and remove the pump without a clue and get it out of time you have basically shot yourself in the foot
Q:Im doing a project on mercury a 5 page essay to be exact and i need loads of information on mercury. Specifically How is it obtained and processed from the earth, Where is it found, What is it like in its pure state, I also need to list qualitative and quantitative descriptions, state uses of the metal, are there toxic qualities associated with this metal, what is the cost per pound or ounce of it.
it is obtained by earth
Q:A)regional political changesB)the better training excavators are receiving C)better pay for paleoanthropologistD)none of these
A B and C
Q:Import Sumitomo A5-210 excavator fault code 0087 what does that mean? Is the engine system abnormal?
Plug the road, the big pump may plug, plugging the electronic pump, and there is a large pump into the East and West, and all kinds of blocking.
Q:I'm going to be building a larger tank for my uromastyx. I tried in the past to me ledges for him out of excavator clay but he is so heavy (and he clawed at them) that he can't really sit on them comfortably. Is there a good way to make a sturdy ledge that would wrap around a corner? I'd put it on the side he basks on so he can get closer to the lamp if he wants :)
Use PVC piping to support the ledge. Cover the pipes in clay to make them look more natural. Use something like a food grade silicone to secure the ledge to the wall. I'd do something like this: 1x piece of wood cut to size and (optional) covered in clay to make look more natural 6x PVC pipe cut to the height you want the ledge from the bottom of the tank. 1x tube of food grade air dry silicone Put one PVC pipe on each of the four corners of the wood. Connect them with silicone to the wood. Place the remaining two at the corners of the wood where it forms the corners of the ledge. Silicone all to the tank. Here's a simple paint drawing I made to demonstrate what I meant. Of course, it's not going to be just what you want. You have to change it to meet your own needs. (Brown is the ledge. White inside black outlined box is the tank. White circles are the PVC pipe. Everything would be silicone-ed in place.
Q:I saw a questionable documentary about 25 years ago which showed the cross section of a geode with a perfectly formed ceramic disk partly embeded in the crystal and partly exposed in the gas cavity. Was that just a fake, or has anyone among the scientific community ever seen or heard that it is authenic. If so can you produce a link to a reputable site which has documented research that has been done on the object? Thanks
25 years ago an excavator dug up a gold chain from inside a coal seam, was it there when the coal was formed, or put there, You be the Judge!
Q:I was watching a documentary about pompeii and the eruption in 79 AD but i fell asleep before it ended. The last thing i remember seeing was what looked like rock covered people?how did this happen? im guessing it was due to the pyroclastic flow? but im not 100% sure.
