I used to be obsessed with making my bed each morning. Then I thought, Why am I doing this? Nobody but me sees it and I'll be back soon anyway. So I quit. I just arrange things so it looks neat and tidy and forget it.

Q:can i use shredded newspaper or paper towels as bedding for them

recycled newspaper has good absorbancy and its cheap pick yourself up a paper shredder and go to town making your own bedding the only problem with that is it needs to be changed frequently it has no odor control and if left unchanged and dirty may pose health risks to the animal but it also gives them something to chew up

Go to bed when you are tired.

The hammock is relative to the hard bed. A soft sponge is more, the body will lie down in.

Q:Anyone have one of these beds? Have they enhanced your sleep? Do you feel more awake in the morning? Any down sides to either bed?

My husband works for comfor-pedic - similiar to tempurpedic and the beds are wonderful. We don't have one but my motherinlaw and my dad each have one and they say that they sleep much better. We have the pillows and I can't sleep without them. Regular pillows just don't cut it anymore.

I wrapped my bed and box spring in plastic and used 4 plastic bowls filled with oil under my bed posts and I still have bites!! I shampoo and sweep my carpet daily. I spray my room down with bed bug spray. I feel like I had less bites when my bed wasn't wrapped up. What am I doing wrong? My bed is also away from the wall uld they be hiding in my bed frame or maybe my blanket even though I wash my blanket everyday?Helppp

Months!? All the while you are screwing around with this these bugs are multiplying, and everywhere you go, you are probably carrying these damn things with you. So, you are infecting your car, public transportation, school, work, stores, whatever. Geezus.....GET AN EXTERMINATOR!!

Q:I don't have bed bugs but my mom said you can have bed bugs if you have your bed laying on the floor because it has no air is how she said it. because since your bed is touching carpet, it can get bed bugs. is that true?

Bed bugs can hitch a ride on your belongings or be carried by bats/birds. They usually hide close to the bed (as the name implies) but sometimes spread to other areas. They are most likely to be found in rooms where a lot of people sleep, or near warmth. I've never heard about a mattress touching the floor attracting bed begs in particular. They tend to hide under the sheets and mattress itself, not in the carpet, so I don't think you have much to worry about.
