Q:automotive grease on carpet?
Greased LIghtening will do the trick, but, Mean Green is good too.
Q:My 6 month old male neutered cats are peeing on the throw rugs. Why? How do I clean the carpet underneath? ?
in all probability you have not thoroughly eradicated the scent of urine from the section. Cats have a much greater advantageous experience of scent than people. you may desire to apply an enzymatic product like Natures Miracle or Outright to eliminate the scent. you will might desire to handle assorted cases and ensure you besides mght take care of the wall. Vinegar won't do away with the scent for the cat. it is going to easily make the section scent like vinegar. the only different non-save offered treatment i comprehend consists of hydrogen peroxide. it may bleach the colour from non-colour speedy factors. i'm going to write down the recipe. in simple terms be sure you combination it in an open field as a gas kinds while the components are blended. thoroughly soak the section and this is truly helpful to repeat the utility greater effective than as quickly as. a million cup Hydrogen peroxide a million tsp baking soda a million drop dish cleansing soap sturdy success
Q:How Do I Install Carpet?
don't try it get a professional
Q:Need carpet fading advice?
If your home is a double wide (or larger), and you did not order it direct from the factory, then there is a good chance it sat on the dealer's lot for some time...and its possible some sunlight was allowed in thru the marriage wall. The marriage wall usually just has a layer of plastic over it for transport...some dealers leave it on while the home is on their lot, and some don't. Even a small hole in the plastic can result in a large faded area if it was facing the sun. (Some homes will sit on a dealerships lot for a year or so, before they are sold....plenty of time for the sun to cause some fading) There is also the possiblity that your cleaning chemicals did cause some fading....they all come with a warning to 'spot check' a section to see if they will cause any fading, before you are to use them all over the carpet. Since you mention dogs in the home, pet urine could also be a factor. And of course, there is always the chance that you just got a bad quality carpet to begin with. Different manufacturers use varying quality of carpet. Some are pretty good. Some are pretty cheap. A lot of the carpet being made today is synthetic...(some even use recycled plastic). Things like nail polish (or remover), or 'kool-aid' (its actually the sugar in the drink that does the damage) can actually alter the fibers chemically. Bleach dripped on the carpet will do the same, even if it is wiped up immediately. If a rag has been used to clean with bleach, or acetone (an ingredient found in most nail polish removers) is dropped on the carpet, or used when damp to wipe the carpet, it will cause the carpet to fade. If the carpet is in good shape, physically... little wear and tear, no holes, etc... then you may want to just have a professional come in to dye the carpet. Usually, this costs less than replacing the carpet, but get some quotes for replacing it too. Good Luck
Q:Carpet vs Carpet squares over existing tile floor?
I'd be more inclined to just get a roll of second hand used carpet cut to the size of the room tack it down around the edges against the walls making it easy to vacuum , so as the vacuum cleaner doesn't lift the carpet as you move about while cleaning. It would be a good idea to also obtain some underlay to help retain the heat in the room, co's just plain carpet won't keep the heat in, you need something under it! (that's why they sell the stuff) Cheers!!
Q:Will laying alot of rugs down soundproof the floor?
This Site Might Help You. RE: Will laying alot of rugs down soundproof the floor? If I lay down a lot of rugs in my apartment (I AM ON THE 3rd FLOOR SO I HAVE SOMEONE UNDER ME). No complaints as of yet but I want to turn it up a bit will laying out alot of rugs help or not? If you have a better idea please help! THANKS!
Q:Approximate cost of new carpet ...?
It really depends on what you pick out. Synthetic is cheaper than wool. I've recarpeted the same house twice. Once I put down synthetic pile and it was under $2000. Once I put down wool berber and it was $4500. Just really depends on what you pick out. Also, if you pay someone to do the installation, they will charge for every piece of furniture they have to move, charge for pulling up and disposing old carpet, and if you have stairs, they charge extra for those.
Q:Where can I buy a custom bamboo rug?
Custom okorder.com
Q:Is Rug Doctor good fot blood stains?
No. It won't do anything for it. Get the blood out BEFORE you shampoo
Q:your own hook rug pattern?
Yes, certainly. Almost every one that hooks a rug draws the design on the backing material. That is the first step. The lazy way is to buy a backing with the design already on it. The above answer gives you a good method on how to transfer a design to your own backing. Or you can simply draw your own right on the backing to your own preferences. Once you do that, you will never go back to commercially prepared kits -- you'll be selling your own on esty!
