Q:that keeps shedding. it's a wool rug and I love it, but I just bought it and it shed shed sheds all over the place. What to do to stop the shedding.....or will it just continue forever?

Hi, This is a natural process of wool rugs shedding loose fibers from the weaving process. It will not hurt your rug just may be a little annoying but the great qualities of wool will make up for that. You may have to vacuum more often 2 or 3 times a week for a year or less until the shedding stops. If the rug is a longer pile like a flokati rug you can rake it with a garden rake (preferable wood or plastic) or uses a wide tooth brush or pet brush to brush it. Hope this helps and hang in there with the shedding!

There are also many options on material. Ake Muenster carpet (the correct name), random pattern, various color. Tufted carpets have fewer colors. But it's cheap and durable, simple pattern. Quality is also good. Luxurious

Needless to say, he's 4 months old and falls flat on his face quite often and just pushes himself along face down with his legs for a few seconds before picking himself back up. So he's got a rug burn on his nose...Any treatments for a quick cure? Aloe Vera, maybe?

gotta love the first little baby bumps. no quick cures that i know of for rug burns, but some good lotion like aquaphor will help it heal and if you coat her nose with it before a crawling session it may act like a buffer lol. you could use neosporin so no scars, but i don't like putting that stuff on my babys face. my daughter gets the rug burns on her knees and elbows now that she is a little older. try getting her some babylegs to put over her legs (or arms if she'll let you) to prevent rug burns there. i have started making my own to match all her outfits lol. they're addicting! when it's hot here, i just let her crawl around with her dipe on and babylegs, nothing else. so they're usable in all weather. (best thing to use them for is the gap between the bottom of her pants and her socks when you put her in a carrier or stroller in the cold weather)

Very nice sheets, but the rug-link isn't there. The pattern on the sheets is so bold that I would be very hesitant to use pattern elsewhere in the room. I'd go with bold color in the room, maybe a pale cool pink on the walls, some throw pillows in cool pink magenta orange, and a small bright orange scatter rug on the floor beside the bed. Each pattern has it's own voice, and these sheets are lively and bold and have a strong voice. Too much pattern is like the difference between having one child in the room with you and working in a daycare. Bedrooms shouldn't be too visually distracting, seeing as we hope to fall asleep there.

Last 12 months my lovely Manx cat Theodore went out for the night time and in no way got here again. I love cats and the condo did not suppose the identical with out one, so I picked up Lola from a rescue centre. She used to be very fearful and might pee all over the place the condo. I observed Cat Spraying No More??? on the net and the systems labored close to instantly. I have not had a main issue with Lola due to the fact that. Amazing! Can't quit your cat peeing within the condo? Then fear not more...

Q:I was burning a candle and the wax dripped on the carpet HELP

The best way I have found is the following. Remove any of the wax that you can without damaging the carpet fibers first. Next, use a towel and an iron set on a low setting. Place a section of the towel over the wax and heat with the iron. Keep the iron moving at all times. When you begin to see wax appearing on the towel ( it will soak into the towel as it begins melting ) move the towel to a clean section. Repeat until all of the wax is absorbed. The carpet area can then be cleaned further with goof off if necessary. If the towel is washed in hot water with detergent, the wax should wash out.
