Q:okay. i'm trying to convince my parents to get me a motorcycle when we move back to california. they are leaning more towards yes. butttt my mom is still worried about safety. The more i know about the dangers and parts and rule about the motorcycles the more relaxed about the idea she gets.. so plz tell me everything you know and ill give you ten points..-Belle (yes, im a girl soon to be 16!!)
Yes there is a real danger: I remember when I managed a polymerisation plant producing acrylic copolymers: There was a serious danger of volatile matter from some monomers - if I remember correctly - methyl methacrylate in particular, reacting with the contact lens and this could result in it fusing to the eye. There were large signs posted around the reactors and storage areas of this monomer warning of this danger. I do not think that it is sufficient to try and add safety goggles over the face. I would suggest that in case of exposure to these fumes the technician should wear conventional glass lenses spectacles or non- acrylic contact lenses. But always consult a properly qualified contact lens specialist for proper advice.
Q:I also haven't wiped after using the restroom for a few years. What are your answers?
Agreed. A pager/telephone alert equipment is a lot extra effective than one with a noisy horn because of the fact the standard public is so used to them now that they are only an annoyance and extra human beings would quite hear them only close the heck up than attempt to look at why it went off. i do no longer own a Viper equipment yet do understand they seem to be a considerable participant in the vehicle alarm platforms marketplace so it stands to reason they'd furnish that decision.
Q:Houston pools won't allow me to wear my goggles because the City of Houston has an ordinance banning goggles with noise pieces. How is it a safety hazard?
If you spray her with a fire hose, it should remove all the piss. It works! I have tried it. My gerbil broke its back leg, but no big deal, it will heal eventually.
Q:99 Crusher? {WWE Evolved}?
22kg 22 litres of water, or 22,000cc. of water per second. Area of hose 78.55cm^2. (22,000/78.55) 280.0764cm/sec., or 2.8m/sec. Area of nozzle 6.606065cm^2. (22,000/6.606065) 3,330.28cm/sec., or 33.3m/sec.
Q:what guage is required in the city mains for a stream in a fire hose connected to the mains to reach a vertical height of 15m ??This numerical has been solved using Bernoulli's equationOne thing in the solution is confusing me.. It's written that since the velocity remains constant, v2 - v1 0 But i don't think the velocity decreases due to the opposite gravitational force, the water gradually slows down and comes to rest at the maximum height please explain
They don't have to wear unless somebody dies and the NHL makes a rule that they HAVE to wear it. LOL Some players do have trouble seeing. Such as Kyle McLaren, he wears the yellow visor to help him see better. Visors do fog up sometimes, that can really affect a player. I don't think it is a MAN UP thing, because Doug Murray wears a visor, and he is a beast! It is the player's preference to wear one or not. Some players like Datsyuk have a sheild which covers almost his whole face, that is for protection. In some cases it is a Man up thing though. It can be used for intimidation.
Q:I'm a Safety (defensive back) for my high school freshman team. Do you think i should wear gloves when I play? If so could you reccomend me the type i should get? I have heard The Cutter C Track the Jammer is the best for safties as it is for defensive backs. Please tell me which ones and why (explain it). I really appreciate it. Thanks a ton. 10 pts.
It could be your water valve in the shower, but I suspect it's the shower Pan or drain. Check the drain first, run the shower and go below and look around the drain where it meets the shower floor. If it's not the drain then you'll have to remove the shower pan (floor) and redo it.
Q:also, would you recommend a fleece under blanket or a lycra?
Sweating is best answer, but be careful not to catch surrounding on fire. Instead of compression, look into sharkbite(push on fittings). They can be found at Home Depot and maybe Lowes, etc. They just push on and are great in a pinch. Compression ftgs will work if put on properly, but can leak if tightened to much or not enough. So if you can't solder, or hire it done, i would look into the push ftgs.
Q:I'm 13 and I'll be going to camp on Monday. I'm so excited. I have never gone to camp before but my best friend is going and I'm looking forward to a new experience. I want to bring a scrapbook I've been making of baby pictures of me. Would it be weird if I brought it? It has some pictures of my parents in it, looking at their 90's hair always puts a smile on my face (lol) plus I won't get homesick. But yeah, would that be considered weird if I brought it? Also, would bringing a stuffed animal be considered weird? I have a stuffed dachshund and it helps me fall asleep having him on my pillow. But I don't know, it might be considered babyish or something. Thanks! )
Try . I wrote a How To about this for pin tumbler locks a couple of years ago and it may still be there, but I only tell people how to do this, person to person, for a fee. Plus, there are locks and then again, there are locks, so a tutorial on one style of lock won't necessarily work on another and there are some you can't pick with any tool. I sell the tools and I sell keys for cars with, and without Transponder Ignitions, and for homes and businesses too. These are for sale, not for free.
Q:it's beginning to end summer and i was cleaning my room. i wasn't living in my room for a while so i was throwing ALL my laundry on the floor. Now that i have started cleaning it i have been seeing a pattern of holes in the bottom of my soft tee's. last year in science we learned about microscopic clothes moths. i think i have those in my room, but when i looked up on google how to get rid of them, all the links said that you can see them, but i can not. i need to know how to get rid of them before they spread and eat other clothes im not sure if washing all my stuff gets them out completely. but i will not do this with my laundry again! please help me asap
Fire resistant homes can and are built, but even a fire resistant home is vulnerable to forest fires, because of how big, and how hot the fire gets. Just like you can make a wind resistant home, but if hurricane winds, or tornado winds get high enough it will still destroy the house. One would need to create a Fire proof, house to help the people in southern California.
Q:The TFT nozzles on the truck at my fire house tend to stick when opening and closing them. What would you reccomend to fix this? Please keep in mind that high pressures and water exposure will be an issue. Also, no flammable lubricant can be used, obviously. Thanks
I'm not sure why you think there needs to be 20 items, but here are some items that are usually found in a first aide kit: bandaids ace bandage alchohol pads butterfly strips neosporin thermometer tylenol or advil (for pain and/or fever) apecac (for accidental poisening) mylanta or pepto bismol (or some other antacid: can be bought in tablet form) lomotil (or diahrea medicine) medical tape gauze iodine tweezers (for removal of splinters or glass) small pair of scissors (for cutting of gauze) safety pins finger nail clippers cotton balls and/or cutips And these last 2 items aren't usually found in a first aide kit, but can come in handy in any emergency: A flashlight flare
