Manganese has a melting point of 1245oC,specific gravity of 7.2.Ordinary manganese is a hard and brittle gray-white metal .It is chemically reactive and slowly decompose cold water. Manganese metal is ferromagnetic after special treatment.

- Nu-metal was a bad time (still is)... Mostly, what killed it is the commercialization and subsequent softening of the genre. Any time it becomes fasion (sold at Hot Topic) it loses a bit of it's original sting. Each era has had it's downfall... the 80s had glam/hairspray/ballads... the 90s had angry nu-metal that didn't ever evolve... now we have pansy bands like Saliva, Puddle of Mud, Kid Rock, and whatever else, that have just tainted the heaviness into a bunch of crap. That's my answer. Also, I could have said that the death of metal happened when Metallica all cut their hair.

- Old School Death Metal. It's still technical, it's still heavy as hell, it's a little brutal, and it's just great. I find that each band has something unique and different going on, unlike the other genres. It's like the other subgenres all combined, which is why I love it. And let's be honest here; Obituary, Suffocation, Immolation, Nocturnus, Death, Morbid Angel, Autopsy, Grave, Entombed, Atheist, Cynic, Cannibal Corpse, and so many others, are *all* old school, even if they're also a little something else. That has the other subgenres beat right there, I think. - Just inspiration. Try to come up with good riffs or some themes, whichever first is okay. Since it's metal we're talking about the ideal themes should be like about protesting about something, like doing a backlash on the government(!), about death, about the end of the world, about war, about drugs(never take 'em), about faith. Then spending hours listening to metal numbers (I suggest listen to classic metal). Also, have in mind if your metal's approach is thrash, death metal, industrial, power metal, etc. so you will know what best suits you.

- Yes, all metals occur naturally in the earth and its materials. However, it is rare to find a metal just sitting there in its native (pure) form. Copper is about the only metal I have ever seen that exists in places as metallic copper in amounts that make it easy to just pick up and use. Gold is sometimes found as nuggets or in its pure state, but is very rare to find that way and usually requires a lot of work to collect.. Metals are more commonly found as oxides, sulfides, or carbonates that have to be mined, concentrated, and purified (smelted). Although it would be possible to mine the soil of your back yard and smelt out some iron (for example), the amount you would collect would not be worth all the effort. You wouldn't get much and it would cost you a lot of money, a lot more money than the iron you got would be worth.
