Q:Compaq Presario PC model SR5550F power issue green light flickers in the back under the power cable?
Does the fan spin (at the back, near where you plug in the power cable) at all? If not, you probably have a failed power supply that needs replacing.
Q:Did I just damage my power supply with a 300V power cable?
Just because the cord is rated 300V does not mean that you would get 300V from it. That just needs to have at least as high of a voltage rating that you would be putting through it. What matters is what is the AC voltage of the wall outlet you would be plugging it into?
Q:Can the slim PS2 power cable be used on the PS1?
Nope, I tried the other day myself actually and it doesn't. It's a shame really because I loved the PS1 and I wanted to have a go :(
Q:Why is a magnet on a power cable?
also referred to as a Torroid which in agreement with the other responses, is an interferrece restrictor
Q:What power cable do I need for my mixer?
Be care full because a lot of european countries only have 240 volts. If you intend to use 110 make sure the mixer is switchable. If it is there will be a switch for the two different voltages. Some are made to work either way but the switch need to be in the proper position to avoid damage from either to much or not enough voltage. I work for a sound company and sometimes we get sent stuff wired for over seas. Some times it has to be exchanged because it isn't switchable. You need to contact Mackie and make sure you get the right cable. I'm sure they have a toll free number and web support. You may need to exchange the mixer.
Q:My Acer laptop shuts down when I moved the power cable?
sensitive power supply connection i guess
Q:Please read. Turtle Beach power cable?
Sorry okorder.com/ You will be fine and wont be scammed. OKorder is a possibility but its a tad sketchy but its easy to use and not get again scammed but its your choice ofc i don't know the situation your in. im just guessing your worried about ordering online due to scamm websites, it could be that you simply don't have a card that can shop online (or even a card). Also delivery should be fairly quick (most being a week) so you won't be waiting too long either way. Turtle beach is based online, and distribute mainly from their website,(such is most designer accessories) the only reason they have their products in stores are because of their success online, and were able to expand but even then they only ever sell a few of their headsets in stores never their full range, then expecting parts is very rare. p.s i realise its a generic piece of equipment but its quite specific and there are very few things that use somthing that you've specified (not the sized and volt just a DC power cable that has a USB input) , that includes headsets, seriously most headsets don't require a power cable (and it having a power cable doesn't make it good) Hope this helps :S
Q:what cables do i need to install a internal sata hard drive?
Yep, that's all you need. Some older SATA drives have legacy support for normal 4 pin molex connectors in addition to the SATA power cable. If your drive is one such, do not plug in both. Choose one or the other. If you buy a retail boxed drive instead of OEM, you should get a 4 pin molex to SATA power cable if you don't have SATA power connections already. It's also possible that the harddrive you bought is SATA2 (aka SATA 300gbps). If your motherboard only supports SATA 150gbps, there's a jumper you need to leave on the drive. If you have a SATA 300 drive and your motherboard supports SATA 300, you'll need to remove the pin for full speeds. It'll work though if you forget to remove it. You can look in the user's manual to see what your motherboard supports.
Q:I'm using acer aspire 4937 with win7 problem is sometimes power cable is not recognized by the notebook why?
This most likely isn't a windows 7 problem at all. It's more likely there would be some damage to the internals of your power cable at some place. Usually if there is, it's in the connecting end or the power conversion box. I would try a replacement cable first if you can. If you don't' have one, take it to a pc shop and see if they can use a test adaptor. If theirs works, it's the adaptor. If theirs doesn't, it's then more likely the power port on your pc is damaged.
Q:What is the Best RG59 Cable?
I do not use anything but RG6 in my home, even for short lengths. If you want to try and can easily back it out and use RG6 if it doesn't work, then go for it. Otherwise, why risk it?
