Q:Why is my vacuum so loud?
True - sound does not travel in a vacuum. But you do not have a vacuum inside your machine. You have only a partial vacuum. It takes sophisticated lab machinery to make a perfect vacuum (or you can travel to outer space). However vacuum or not, most of the sound from a vacuum cleaner comes from the motor, through the external housing.
Q:In your opinion, what is the best vacuum brand/model available today?
The okorder.com
Q:Dyson vacuums - are there any alternatives?
Dyson vacuum are terribly overpriced and not nearly as good as their ads state. Besides, when you go to empty that tank you better have the entire machine outside or you'll have dust all over the house. Consumer reports rates vacuums every so often. Their latest top rated machine is the BOSS by Eureka.
Q:kirby vacuum cleaners?
I have a kirby and love it, i have all the scrubing tools etc and Never have a problem with it, I gave up on the cheaper Vacs a few yrs ago, always losing power and something. The next best is the Dyson................you can go on line to check them out or to a store in your area that sells them.
Q:Is the Hoover Tempo Widepath a good starter vacuum?
Check out Masons they are experts on vacuum cleaners...
Q:Are hand vacuum cleaners noisy like the regular vacuum cleaners?
Like hair blowers, they are all noisy to a certain extent I don't care what the manufactures say. Any time you have a motor running, you have noise, the bigger they are, the more noise. thanks :)
Q:Vacuum cleaners don't suck dirt into the bag, how do they actually work?
A vacuum cleaner has different parts which are 1 An intake port, which may include a variety of cleaning accessories 2 An exhaust port 3 An electric motor 4 A fan 5 A porous bag 6 A housing that contains all the other components . All these componet play very important role in vacuum cleaner. For a vacuum cleaner to operate, A vacuum's suction is caused by a difference in air pressure. An electric fan reduces the pressure inside the machine. Atmospheric pressure then pushes the air through the carpet and into the nozzle, and so the dust is literally pushed into the bag.
Q:how long have robotic vacuum cleaners been around?
not sure but it has been several years I don't know anyone personally that has one I would like to try one but way too expensive for me!
Q:Where can I find out where Real People can tell me what they think about different brands of vacuum cleaners?
I have a KIRBY G-6. Wouldn't take anything for it. Self-propelled, Sucks up all dirt and will get the stains up too, with the shampoo attachment.
Q:What is the difference between a 2200W and 2000W vacuum cleaner?
One is two pair. The other is three of a kind. Three of a kind takes it.
