Q:Are you scared of vacuum cleaners too?

My niece and my son both are. I'm not scared of them but I hate vacuuming. My wonderful husband bought me a Roomba so now I don't have to. I hate vacuums but I love Roombas!

Q:why are some dogs afraid of vacuum cleaners?

Dogs hearing is different then ours they hear sounds that w can not and the way we hear the sound of the vacume seems harmless when in fact we scare our pets.

If you are talking strictly hard flooring a shop vac would be ideal i would use a bag in it though it does create less maintenance in the long run due to the bag having a larger filtering area i would probably go with an allaround model due to their smaller size then i would pick up a quality hard floor tool i like anything made with horsehair stiff enough to remove the dust but soft enough not to scratch

Q:My vacuum cleaner has recently lost all suction. I've cleaned out the filters, and made sure the tubes aren't clogged with gunk, and everything is pretty clear. Any other suggestions? I'd rather try to fix it then buy yet another new vacuum.

If you have done all the checks to make sure there isn't a blockage then it seems you have a major problem. Most vacuum cleaners have a propeller (fan blade) that directs the air in the proper direction to effect suction. These propellers are usually made from plastic which over time will break especially when struck by a hard object that has entered the vacuum. It may be that yours is broken. If the vacuum is expensive it may be worth your money to have it repaired. If not, then toss it and buy another.

Q:Okay its the commercial where the women are using these vacuum cleaners and when they are vacuuming its sqeaking. It sounds like a bunch of dog toys. I know this is confusing! I just want to know what brand and vacuum they are advertising for!

Q:What value does Voltage indicate for vacuum suction?

You need to explain this better, it makes no sense as it is. edit: no way to know exactly. Voltage alone tells you nothing. But the power used (in watts) could be a guide, if you have that number, in watts. 1400 mA-hour is a measure of the charge stored in the battery, so that is no help, as you need a time number to convert that to mA, which, with the voltage, can give you power in watts. My experience is that hand held vacuum cleaners are all very feeble.

Q:I have never bought a hoover or a vacuum cleaner and need some recommendations. Dont want to spend too much money on it. Will mostly use it to vacuum my carpet. Please provide links for recommendations.

Getting a hair cut isn't that important anyways. It's just important for your hair to stay at pull worthy length. Funny how Margo thinks I am a lady and Hispanic. I clean her place so I can sneak in her bedroom and sniff her panties.

Well if you can you would probably be a pretty good engineer. I would keep any existing filters cleaned regularly and if you are using a bag They tend to have better air flow when first installed(empty). You didn't mention what type or for what purpose. If you are cleaning carpet you need agitation, air flow,and suction. Setting it too low would cut down on air flow. Too high would increase air flow but you would not get the suction down where you need it. You might get some better answers if you add details.
