Hey,i happen to have a sisal rug myself!! Firstly, it depends on the kind of sisal rug you have. There are two types: synthetic fiber, which may contain nylon or wool-blend materials; and natural fiber, made of plant products such as sea grass, paper, or coconut fibers. To safely clean synthetic-fiber sisals, follow the manufacturer's directions, which may recommend hot-water extraction or a dry-cleaning method. Manufacturers of natural-fiber sisals suggest only a dry-cleaning method. Do not steam-clean or wet-shampoo; liquids or excessive dampness may cause these rugs to shrink or pucker. For spot-cleaning a stain, lightly mist the area with the manufacturer's recommended cleaning solution (do not pour or heavily apply any cleanser directly onto the rug). Then blot the damp area with a white towel and continue blotting until the stain is removed. A fabric protectant may be applied to both types of sisal rugs during the manufacturing process or by the consumer. Q:SO my dog had bad diaheria and made a nasty nasty mess on the carpet in a few spots and it was just aweful so only thing i had was oxi clean so put oxiclean on the spots which were very large spots and now its super white in those spots which is better then poo but looks crazy... what can I do to make it look not as noticable? Only thing i could think of is get oxiclean and add it to water and steam clean the whole carpet and maybe it wont be as bad but that would take TON of oxiclean does anyone have any ideas?

Q:every time i leave the housemy cat pees the rug even when we are sleeping. we have tried every thing with the viniger and that stufff that cleens the rug and takes away the odor. the rug is by the window cill and there are some stray cats running around outside. every time she does is we flick her nose and put her in our bathroom. plz help i`m tired of scrubbbing my carpet.

I know this may sound gross, but buy some Summers Eve Douche, the Vinigar and Baking Soda, and is your cat Spayed? If not, this may be the problem, if she can hear tomcats outside, this may be her way of saying I wanna night out with the boys! The Summers Eve will totally get rid of the odor, and the baking soda in the douche will absorb any surrounding odors! And......you could buy a second litter box, and place it under the window sill! And if you buy a sprayer, and some rubbing alochol, it will keep your cat away from that area! Don't let her eat it though, it will make her sick! But I would take her and get her spayed if she isn't already! Perhaps she has an UTI..... We need a few more facts.....did you have a second cat who recently found a new home, or passed on? She may be depressed....were you previously home more often, and are now going out more? Maybe she has seperation anxiety.....without knowing the whole story, it's hard to say!
