A butterfly valve consists of body ,stem ,disc , actuator (manual actuator, worm-gear actuator , aerodynamic actuator or electric actuator) , and wafer type butterfly valve can implement the process for turning on turning off and regulating the flow by the circumrotation of stem and disc  that is droved by actuators.

1.Simple and compact construction. Small in size and light in weight. Easy transportation, installation and maintenance.
2. Quick 90 degrees on-off operation. Minimized operating torque ,energy saving.
3. Excellent sealing performance with no leakage. Long service life.
4. Wide selection of materials ,applicable for various media..
5. Flow curve tending to straight line. Excellent regulation performance.

Q:i have a slightly small mitral valve leak in my heart. my cardiologist say nothing to worry about, but i am not sure. can some one explain if it would eventually lead to some complications?
I have Mitral Valve Prolapse, and slight regurgitation. If your cardiologist says not to worry, I wouldn't worry. Mitral Valve prolapse just means you have a slight deformity of the bicuspid valve. It doesn't close correctly. It's not a disease, or anything like that, just a slight deformity. The symptoms are annoying. You may or may not have palpitations, slight sharp chest pain sometimes, dizziness, fatigue, and anxiety from it. You must have it checked yearly to make sure it's not progressing. I have had it since I was born, and now I am 28, and it has not progressed at all. MILLIONS of people are walking around with it, and don't even know it. It's not really a big deal. However, it does have the potential to worsen and you may or may not need a new valve. But that normally happens when you're older, in your 50's or up. Don't worry about it.
Q:Butterfly valve general use occasions
Valve is especially suitable for low differential pressure, large diameter, large flow of gas and slurry liquid. For general control valve, DN300mm is big valve, only individual to DN450, and for the butterfly valve, DN500 below is a small valve, DN500 ~ 1000 is the standard valve, the largest butterfly caliber up to 9m. Visible, large diameter pipe with the main butterfly valve.
Q:What's the difference between a butterfly valve and an eccentric butterfly valve? What is the difference in field applications?
Avoid friction and wear on the sealing surface! And, at the time of closing, and opening the opposite, there is a better sealing effect! Now generally use eccentric butterfly valve as the main. That's all I know! If there is any mistake, please forgive me!
Q:How to use the fire butterfly valve properly?
Clamp and groove type and signal butterfly valve, the first two have what requirements of installation, the operating handle can rotate to open and close the valve installation, signal wiring, mouth down, to prevent water and caused a short circuit three line grounding and alarm line for leakage protection and monitoring of the valve open or closed, general are in line with the alarm valve or flow indicator matched with water, indicating the spacing of not less than 300mm, no other special requirements
Q:How warm is the PTFE butterfly valve?
PTFE butterfly valve, sealing surface of fluorine plastic, temperature -29 ~ 450 degrees
Q:i just finished installing a sprinkler line for my lawn and i used anti siphon valves and 4quot; sprinkler heads. it says in the manual that it has to be at least 6quot; from the highest sprinkler. i think i made a mistake. i installed it 7quot; from the highest 'sprinkler line' . will i have a problem with that regarding the operation of the anti siphon valves and the sprinkler system itself?
as you stated, you said the directions said at least 6 from the highest sprinkler 7 will be ok as well as 20. i don't know what region you are in, but if you are in a freeze zone though it is always a good idea to blow the lines when winter comes around.
Q:Model specification for butterfly valves
1. classification by structure(1) Central sealed butterfly valve (2) single eccentric sealed butterfly valve (3) double eccentric sealed butterfly valve (4) three eccentric sealed butterfly valve2. by secret cover material classification(1) soft sealing butterfly valve. (2) metal hard sealing butterfly valve.3. classified by seal type(1) forced sealing butterfly valve (2) pressure sealed butterfly valve. (3) automatic sealing butterfly valve. The pressure of the seal is automatically generated by the pressure of the medium.4. classification by work pressure(1) vacuum butterfly valve. Butterfly valve with lower working pressure than standard atmosphere. (2) low pressure butterfly valve. Butterfly valve with nominal pressure PN<1.6MPa. (3) medium pressure butterfly valve. Butterfly valve with nominal pressure PN 2.5--6.4MPa. (4) high pressure butterfly valve. Nominal pressure PN is 10. 0--80.0MPa butterfly valve. (5) ultra high pressure butterfly valve. Butterfly valve with nominal pressure PN>100MPa.5. classification by operating temperature(1) high temperature butterfly valve. T>450 degrees C butterfly valve (2) medium temperature butterfly valve. 120 C6. classification by connection1 pairs of clip butterfly valve2, flange butterfly valve (3) lug butterfly valve. (4) welded butterfly valve.
Q:What's the difference between cut-off valve, gate valve and butterfly valve? What's the difference in the working principle?
Gate valve, also known as gate valve, is a widely used valve. Its closing principle is that the gate sealing surface and the valve seat sealing surface are smooth and smooth, and they fit together to prevent the flow of the medium, and rely on the die shape of the top die, spring or gate to enhance the sealing effect. It mainly cuts off in the pipeline. The cut-off valve, also called the door, is the most widely used as a valve, it is popular is because the process of opening and closing the sealing surface friction between the small, more durable, highly open small, easy manufacture, convenient maintenance, not only for low pressure, but also suitable for high pressure. Butterfly valve with light characteristics, more than other valves to save material, simple structure, quick opening and closing, cutting and throttling can be used, the fluid resistance is small, labor-saving operation. Butterfly valve can be made into large caliber. Where you can use the butterfly valve, it is best not to make the gate valve, because the valve is more economical than the gate valve, and the regulation is good. At present, butterfly valves are widely used in hot water pipelines.
Q:My bike has now 6200 miles on the odometer. The manual says that a valve adjustment should be performed every 6000 miles. But the bike runs fine. Can I just have the valve checked or should I have them adjusted even though the bike is fine? What will happen if I just keep riding it?
In reality, lots of bikes go their entire lives without a valve adjustment. In my opinion that is a great way to ruin a bike though. They have a maintence schedule for a reason. If a valve isn't seating, it can hurt performance and the valve will not be able to transfer heat to the head. That can burn a valve and cause detonation. You have to check valves to adjust them, and the labor for just checking will be nearly the same or identical to doing the adjustments. I do all my own wrenching, so money isn't really an issue, but if I were you, I would just bite the bullet and take it in.
Q:The difference between butterfly valve and gate valve
Wedge gate valve spool angle is generally 3~6 degrees, when forced to shut down excessive or temperature changes of the valve core is easy to die. Therefore, high temperature and high pressure wedge gate valve, in the structure have taken certain measures to prevent spool stuck. The valve in the opening and closing valve and valve seat sealing surface contact and mutual friction is always so easy to wear sealing surface, especially in close off the valve, the valve before and after the great pressure, sealing surface wear is more serious.
