                        End Suction Centrifugal Pump

1.Structure of End Suction Centrifugal Pump Description

End Suction Centrifugal Pump complies fully to the European Standard BS EN733 / DIN24255 of performance and dimensions. They are used for pumping clean water or liquids similar to water, achieving wide application on plants, mines, city water supplies, air-conditioning coolers, firefighting system and irrigation. Pumps of the same model have different performance levels basing on different diameter after impeller trimming. Overall the whole series, there are only four sizes of shaft and five of bearing housing. As long as their bearing housings are of the same size, different pumps can interchange chief parts such as shaft, shaft sleeve, shaft seal, impeller nut, etc.

End Suction Centrifugal Pump is also very easy to be installed and maintained. Back pull-out design, driven through flexible coupling, so that pump casing and motor can remain in position while other spare parts are removed.

Q:Does a water pump has to leakin to be bad?How can I tell if my water pump is workin?
if you can look down inside the radiator watch the water see how it moves.... check you hoses if any of them are soft or fat looking.... and it dont have to leak to be bad but in most cases it leaks..... most of the time when a car over heats its a flow thing
Q:97 Dodge Stratus Timing belt & Water pump?
Non- interference engine.Meaning no damage. repair it. 100% guess here Parts: Pump / T-belt / Tensioner,Coolant - $140 your cost -200 shop Labor : 3 hours/Or free rate of difficulty 1--10 -5-
Q:97 silverado 5.7L water pump replacement?
I am not sure why you would want to get a used water pump from a junk yard as they are not that expensive even for a new one. You should be able to get one from NAPA for less than $40. I would recommend taking off the top part of the fan shroud as it isn't that hard with there only being about 6 10mm bolts holding it in place. Use a scrapper to remove the old gasket from the block. Brake clean will clean the mounting area but will not remove the old gasket material. If you try to install the new pump and gaskets with the old material still in place, there is a good chance it will leak. Check the color of the coolant that is in the vehicle now. If it is green, you can use green coolant. If it is orange (Dex cool), you better replace it with orange or else completely flush the cooling system. If you mix green and orange coolant, it has a bad habit of turning into a mud type material and can cause problems. Other than that, these pumps are not hard to change.
Q:What kind of water pump should I get?
Go to sears and get a shallow well pump that has a foot valve and runs on 115vac perhaps a 1.5 hp ..if the head(the uphill part plus the pipe loss ) gets to great you might need a lager hp but a 1.5 with a 25 ft of head should give 9gpm at 40 psi . Oh yes is this is a closed system be sure an get a high pressure cut off switch..they are real cheap... from the E..
Q:Could someone tell me the procedure for removing & installing a water pump on 97 buick skylark 3.1L 3100 SFI?
Get the Chilton manual.
Q:i have a 2000 vw bug and i need help in changing the thermostat or the water pump?
The water pump is timing belt driven and is under the plastic timing cover on passenger side. These water pumps have a history of breaking, due to the fact they have a plastic impeller and it shears off the shaft, which causes the engine to overheat. First you want to remove the thermostat and then check the water pump. Follow the lower radiator hose to where it connects to the engine. That flange is where the thermostat is at. After you remove the thermostat you can shine a light in the hole and put your finger in there, if the impellar of the water pump moves, it needs to be replaced. If it does, then you might as well replace the timing belt and tensioner, seeing how you have to remove it to get the water pump off.
Q:Work done in water pumping?
Power_W = (Mass_kg * Gravity_m/s/s * Height_m) / time_s Where: Mass kg is 1kg/l of 2000 liters Gravity is 9.81m/s/s Head is 60m + 10m (height). The suction head is ignored because the pump is submerged. In practice there is some suction head due to intake restrictions like pipes, check valves, strainers. The time is 20 minutes in seconds. The work is the energy used in the time allocated, which is: power * time in seconds, which is watt seconds = joules. Not needed here as it is in the formula above. Power is the rate of doing work. The depth below water is not really relevant except for pipe losses which increase the head slightly. The flow is 2000 liters/20 minutes = 100 l/min. This can be used with the head of 70m to determine the pipe restriction, which amounts to a pressure drop representing extra head added. It will indicate whether the pipe is too small (excessive head added) or whether the pipe is overkill (no head added). You can find on line calculators for this, e.g. search pipe resistance flow on line calculator. I am guessing a 2 inch pipe has little loss at this flow. This is the so called water power. It is the output power of the pump. The pump may only be 50% or so efficient, so the mechanical power delivered by the motor needs to be greater by this ratio. The electrical input power to the motor is greater again to allow for motor efficiency. This might be 60-90%. In practice the efficiency of pump and motor are determined from user manual or specification of the actual devices with the actual loads (head and flow).
Q:Bad alternator or bad water pump pulley?
not a good idea, find the bad part first, could be < idler pulley, tension, power steering pulley, air conditioner compressor pulley ( if it has air ) , alternator besides that, there ain't any CHEAP belts that i know of
Q:How to identify the motor series of pumps
Look at the speed, see the modelFor example, the actual 1430r/min synchronous speed is 1500 rpm, the speed formula: speed = time (60 seconds) * frequency (50HZ) divided by the number of pole pairs one pole of 2 pole, which can be calculated 3000 83019 1500=2 on pole or 4 pole motor.See model is more straightforward: for example motor model is Y 132 M- 4Y, three-phase asynchronous motor, the three-phase asynchronous motor product name: YR for winding type asynchronous motor; YB explosion-proof induction motor; YQ high starting torque of asynchronous motor.  132, a high center (mm)M code, frame length4, the number of polesFrom the motor nameplate marked, you can see that the motor is 2, model FW12-2, speed 2840
Q:The problem of single phase pumps
The capacitor is broken. Change it.
