Product Description
A diesel generator is the combination of a diesel engine with an electric generator (often an alternator) to generate electrical energy. This is a specific case of engine-generator. A diesel compression-ignition engine often is designed to run on fuel oil, but some types are adapted for other liquid fuels or natural gas.
Diesel generating sets are used in places without connection to a power grid, or as emergency power-supply if the grid fails, as well as for more complex applications such as peak-lopping, grid support and export to the power grid.

FAQ:
Q1: What is Prime Power and Standby Power Rating?
A1: Prime Power (PRP): Prime power is available for an unlimited number of annual hours in variable load application, in accordance with GB/T2820-97(eqv ISO8528); A 10% overload capability is available for a period of 1 hour within a 12-hour period of operation. Standby Power Rating (ESP): The standby power rating is applicable for supplying emergency power for the duration of a utility power interruption. No overload, utility parallel or negotiated outage operation capability is available at this rating
Q2: How do we guarantee the quality of our products?
A2: We have established an advanced quality management system which conducts strict quality tests at every step, from raw materials to the final product.
Q3: How soon can we receive the product after purchase?
A3: Within three days of placing an order, we will begin production. The specific shipping date is dependent upon international and government factors, but is typically 30 to 40 workdays.
Q4: What is your after sales service?
A4: CNBM provides a full line of brand new and high quality products. Each and every unit is strictly factory tested. Warranty is according to our standard conditions: a, 15 months, counted on the day CNBM sold to the first buyer; b, One year after installation; c, 1000 running hours (accumulated); subject to the earlier one. Service and parts are available from CNBM or distributors in your location.
- Q:Here in Tamil Nadu in India, we are facing Neelum storm.
- It's gone in virgina. New York and some other states been severely affected by it though. I'll be praying for you guys over in India!
- Q:I am building a food van with a generator housed in the rear and would like to feed the fuel from the main tank fitted to the vehiclewho would I contact for this information?
- its depend upon the sector u going to invest
- Q:I work at a high rise building as security and was interested to know why smoke would come out of a generator? What would be the main reason? Engine too hot? A snapped wire?
- What kind of generator and how is it fueled? A diesel generator will smoke at start-up, and if it is an older unit burning old fuel, it will smoke in operation as well. That would be smoke from the exhaust. If you are writing about smoke from the windings - that is the generator itself - that would be due to an overload and/or winding failure, and caused by the system overheating. If you are writing about smoke coming off the engine - that could be from an oil leak, or debris falling onto the engine and being combusted by heat. Only the first of these is 'normal'.
- Q:what is diesel power plan or station & how it is work?
- In diesel power plant the power is produced by a Diesel Engine. The diesel engine used may be 2 stroke or four stroke It is used only for small amount of power production Working: Diesel engine is coupled with generators or alternator for generating electricity
- Q:I need a specification of the inverter and battery that will work for 5-6 hours with around 10-14 laptops connected to it. Can any one please help me.
- You would need to be more specific. Multiply the watts of one laptop power supply by 14, then get a more powerful invertor. e.g. 14 x 50 watt laptops 700 watts, get at least a 1 Kw invertor. It is difficult to predict how long a particular battery will power an invertor, a 1 Kilowatt load will draw a huge current, about 50 amps from a 12 volt battery. If at all possible you would be better off using a petrol or diesel generator and extension leads, as the size of battery needed would be enormous, you would need a no. of 12 volt large 12 volt batteries joined together, or one battery and one x 100 watt invertor for each laptop. You might also consider using a battery to power a DC to DC convertor for each laptop. For example one laptop could use a 12 volt, 50 AH battery and a 12 to 20 volt convertor, this will probably run a 50 watt laptop for 6 hours. I say probably because the only way to know for sure is to try it out. For the price of 14 batteries and 14 convertors you can probably buy a really good silent 1 kw petrol generator. This will be smaller, lighter and probably safer than 14 x 50 AH batteries.
- Q:here's the thing.Imagine that I have a generator that uses diesel as the fuel. then consider following two cases.Case 1 - using one 1kW bulb for one hourCase 2 - using ten 100W bulbs for one hourI know both cases consume a same amount of power that is 1kWH.but I THINK the demand (which is measured in kVA or just kW) is higher in the second case. (is it??)so my question is that, does the generator burn a same amount of fuel at both the cases regardless of higher demand in second case?? and I'd much obliged if you can say how??
- Assuming the wattage rating of all bulbs is accurate, power is exactly the same. To save fuel you should buy powerful LED lamps which use only a fraction of the power of a filament lamp. A 12 watt LED will produce as much light as a 100 watt filament bulb, so for 120 watts of energy you get the same light as from 1,000 watts of filament bulbs.
- Q:i have an old marine onan generator. It is a two cylinder diesel engine and the block is almost round on the bottom. I thought it was a cummins but im not sure. I know it is vague but can anyone help.

- Q:1. How does a generator work?2. What is the use/importance of a transformer?3. How does a capacitor work? 4. How does a rectifier work? (rectifier circuit)5. What is a p-type semi-conductor?6. What is an n-type semi-conductor?7. How does electromagnetism work in a motor?8. What are the processes in electrical energy transmission from electric power plants to consumers?I prefer simple explanations so it can be easily understood. Thanks.
- the answer is C. The reasoning in the back of it truly is, the generator is extracting means out of the circulation of the bicycle. because it rolls down the hill, your bicycle sensible factors % because means received from gravity will upload means to the bicycle. once you've a generator connected to the wheel, the means will be diverted between bicycle gaining % and shining the person-friendly bulb. Now, extra means person-friendly bulb consumes, extra means receives diverted to the generator and a lot less is on the marketplace to attain the speed. ultimately inspite of the truth that, if there's no person-friendly bulb (aka burnt), then no means receives diverted to the generator. hence, maximum means will be accessible for the bicycle. hence, it sensible factors the most % if the bulb is burnt.
- Q:I live on an island and we only have one power company they have taken our power away from us and because we were stealing power from them and would have to pay a hefty fee which we decided not to pay. we are running on a diesel generator right now but i was wondering if natural gas or propane generators are cheaper and or more efficient. ive checked the gas suppliers website for prices but it wasnt very helpfull.I would need a generator that is about 15 kW
- If you have a natural gas pipeline then that's what I would use. Nat gas burns the cleanest, no soot, no mess, no fuel filters to clean, the motor oil lasts longer, no tanks to get water and gunk in. no fuel stabilizers needed, no fuel spills and no tank certifications, etc. With a pipeline you won't have to go shag and store fuel and you won't run out. Even in a wide spread power failure the nat gas is usually not affected. If you have to lease or rent a nat gas tank THEY have to certify it against leaks.
- Q:I just want to know why Oahu is vulnerable to black outs
- You know, it not that bad, so not sure why you say they vulnerable to black outs, sure we have some, but not that often, ok? Here the thing, all electric power on island generated by diesel generators, and some time they break down, and infroastructure very suseptible to dampness, so when it rain, like rite now, we gonna get some power outages, but I neva see a true black out where all power out in city, that kinda thing, ok? Maybe they happen when I asleep, ok? Peace and aloha
