Q:How helpful is a real estate degree?
You do not need a degree of any kind to become a real estate agent. I am not against any type degree you would want to get. For a real estate broker some states such as California will allow you to take the real estate broker test as oppose to taking the salesman (Real estate agent) test. If you plan to make selling real estate for a living you would have to have continuing education each year or two in order to maintain your license and keep it current. I would lean more toward getting a degree or at least getting a secondary degree in Sales and Marketing. This type of degree would benefit you as most real estate agents fail because they have little or no experience at marketing themselves To get a license in most states you simply need to complete a real estate school so as to be able to pass the required test administered by the state in which you reside. You should google real estate license (Your state) this will bring up several sites that will tell you the state requirements to obtain a real estate license in your state. Once you know the requirements to obtain a license from your state you may at that time make a decision as to what you want to do about getting your degree and what degree you would want. I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck. FIGHT ON
Q:Trumps real estate law firm?
Wouldn’t you expect Trump to use many different real estate law firms? I mean if he had just one, wouldn’t everyone know that THE DONALD would likely be sitting across the table in any transaction that singular firm handles. It would make it very difficult for Trump to negotiate, if every buyer/seller knew they were dealing with a rich guy. I heard that 60 Minutes tried to just estimate Trump’s worth. Apparently they got vastly different numbers from different investigators. I think that this is because Trump has so many different corporations and legal structures that is difficult for an outsider to know about them all. If he goes to this much trouble to hide his identify through asset protection, it is probably a safe bet that he does not use a single real estate law firm, or broker
Q:please answer this question about real estate? thanks?
C. The median and the average price dont really relate. You will hear people speak of the average home price in an area. The median price is just the middle number of price ranges. EX: 300,000 , 350,000 , 400,000. The median price is 350,000. The average price is the price of similar homes in the area.
Q:Is real estate business good money making?
Real Estate sales? If you're good at it, you can make loads of money. If you're not, you might as well flip burgers. Buying real estate on spec hoping it will go up? If you're good at it, you can make loads of money. If you make wrong decisions, you can lose lots of money. Buying and developing property? If you're good at it, you can make loads of money. If you're not, you're bankrupt. Managing property for other people? You can make a living.
Q:Real Estate Career??
It is always possible. Some real estate rookies come in and make huge sums of money. There are three things these people have: contacts, drive, and perseverance. The rule of thumb in any sales job is that it takes about six months to get a steady income. In real estate it can take years, but doesn't have to. I remember my first day as a real estate agent. Everyone told me it would take forever. I had floor that day and I had a contract in my hand before I left. I recommend, at least while you are getting started, that you have a secondary income. It is great if you are young and living with your parents, older with a pension, or if your spouse has a good job. If you are the sole bread winner, it can be tough. Make sure you have enough money in savings before you quit your job. Many real estate offices require that you pay them to work there. Make sure you are comfortable with your commission split. You can expect to see anything from a 50% commission split, but no office fees, to 100% commission split but you pay a large office fee. There will be many options in between. I could go on and on, but email me and I'll be happy to answer specific questions. Ultimately, your success or failure is dependent on how hard you are willing to work. If you want to learn how do really make it, find a job as a real estate assistant, once you get your license, it shouldn't be difficult. As an assistant, you will receive a paycheck while learning the ropes. What you learn in school is how to pass the test. But it doesn't teach you how to succeed.
Q:what does a real estate company do?
Generally speaking a real estate company lists and sells real estate. Some do property management for people also. To construct homes they have to have a builders license. Architects design the homes unless they used floor plans which are purchased from someone or the buyer brings his own floor plans. The builder can contract with whoever gives his the best price for the best materials needed for the project. That is determined by the builder if he is going to build the home then sell it or the person who hires the builder to build his home. Some real estate companies have builders and mortgage companies that are part of their companies but that is not required.
Q:buy real estate in Hawaii?
If you're buying property as an investment you have to ask yourself - What is the purpose of this investment and does the payoff justify the risk? In order to determine where the best deal can be found you have to decide what purpose the property is to serve. I would suggest that the property fulfill multiple purposes instead of just a pure investment. As a pure investment you are totally at the whim of the real estate market. Ask yourself, 1) Do you want to use the property as a vacation home? 2) Are your goals long term? 3) Can you cover any monthly shortfall if the rent does not cover all the expenses? 4) Can you manage the property from a distance? If not, what are the expenses associated with a local management company? We purchased property in Hawaii 2 years ago with the intention of renting it out and eventually to become our retirement home. We lucked out in that the property included a transient vacation rental permit. No new permits have been issued since the late 1980's so we're grandfathered in. This allows us to use it as an investment, vacation home and eventually a retirement home. There's no better investment than buying property and having someone else pay for it. Typically long term rent in Hawaii, although very high by mainland standards does not cover the mortgage and other expenses. So there will be a monthly shortfall to cover. This may or may not be offset by an increase in market value, but you only realize that when you sell. In the meantime you have to cover that monthly shortfall. A transient vacation rental requires a lot more work but comes closer to paying for itself. Where to invest depends in large part on what you intend to get out of the property.
Q:Real Estate Development Company?!?!?!?
Well that depends. Typically the real estate agency gets a commission percentage on every property they sell ranging around 5-10%. Usually the agent who sold the property will profit about 2-4% of that. And the prices of properties in LA very on the location but I'd guess the range to be between $400,000 and $500,000. So for example, if they sell 50 properties in one year and get 7% commission, they would make $1,750,000 a year without taxes. Hope that helps.
Q:Is real estate investing a good investment?
RE: How does truly property funding trusts paintings? What are truly property funding trusts or REITs and the way do they paintings. Is there a few regulation that supply those believe a few tax potency reputation and the way can traders put money into those REITs. With the truly property marketplace within the US the best way as it's, is it a well time to put money into the estate marketplace by way of...
Q:Anybody here invest in real estate?
The best thing to do is find someone with experience under their belt. Either a real estate broker or agent should do. They can give you specific number ranges for home values rental markets. You also have to specify what type of investing you'de like to do. Whether it's buy flip, rental properties, or sub-market purchasing, you'll need a good team including settlement attorneys, mortgage brokers/lenders, inspection agents, and a good agent/broker. I'd stay away from those no-money down, make a billion dollars this year infomercials, all of that info can be obtained free from your team of professionals. Make sure they're on your side and not representing multiple parties in the same transaction.
