Q:What is the acceptance standard of refractory?
Feeler gauge is used to check the thickness of the refractory brickwork joint. The top of the gauge can not be sharpened. Feeler gauge is of the width of 15mm, length of 100mm and thickness of 1, 1.5, 2 or 3mm. The thickness is eligible when the depth which the feeler gauge is inserted in is less than or equal to 20mm. Ten places should be inspected per 5m2 of masonry surfaces. It is qualified when the condition in which thickness of the brickwork joint is 50% larger than a predetermined depth is not less than five times and it is excellent when the condition is no more than two times.
Q:For refractory, why is it necessary to store the first mixing materials for some time under proper moisture and temperature?
It is mainly to remove gas form chemical reactions in the pug, give full play to plasticity and binding properties of combined, and store unburned brick whose cememting agent is phosphoric acid or aluminium phosphate for some time under proper moisture and temperature. For example, to avoid the formed bricks in the initial stage of drying and firing form cracking due to hydration of calcium oxide. Mixing materials is to store the first mixing materials for some time under proper moisture and temperature in order to improve the evenness and moldability of pud, such as making the distribution of combined clay and water more even. The length of storing chiefly depends on the process requirements and the characteristics of blanks. For the producing pug of high temperature kiln furnitures, the storing time is longer. The function of storing mxing materials varies with different natures of blanks. For honeycomb ceramics, it is to fully digest calcium oxide in blanks. For storing magnesia brick blanks containing much calcium oxide, it should be stored for some time in proper humidity and temperature.
Q:How long is the fire resistance time of the AAAfire resistance rolling shutter door?
How long is the fire resistance time of the AAA fire resistance rolling shutter door?
Q:What are the application of old refractory bricks?
It can be used for refractory bricks again, as long as the quality is good. It is much more cost-effective than Bayerite.
Q:what should be paid sttention when buying the refractory?
First, look at the appearance of the product, it will be better if the surface of product is smooth, if there are the injuries and damages which may influence the use, do not use it. Second, the main characteristics of insulation material is flame resistance, reduce the loss of fire occurred at the time of purchase combustion performance testing products, non-combustible stone wool products are the best. Third, refractory insulation with good hygroscopicity is also very important, it can keep your room drying for a long time , played the role of moisture-proof, and more capillary, the hygroscopicity is better.
Q:What are the requirements on fire resistance period of C-level fireproof glass?
It can be classified into three types in terms of fire resistance, Class A: The fireproof glass which meets demands of fire integrity and fire insulation at the same time. This glass has advantages of excellent transmittance, fire-proofing(smoke resistance, fire insulation, and blocking heat radiation), sound insulation and impact resistance. It can be applied to architectural ornaments, fire resistant timber doorsets with steel structure, windows, upper beam, partition walls, daylighting roofs, ceiling screens, perspective floor and other building components which need transparency and fireproofing. Class B: The fireproof glass which meets demands of fire integrity and thermal radiation intensity at the same time. This glass is mostly composite fireproof glass which has advantages of transmittance, fireproofing, and smoke resistance. Class C: The fireproof glass which only meets demand of fire integrity. This glass has advantages of transmittance, fireproofing, smoke resistance and high intensity. It can be applied to fireproof glass partition walls, fire windows and with no requirements on outdoor curtain walls, etc. The fireproof glass can be classified as composite fireproof glass and single chip fire-proof glass in terms of structure.
Q:How to prolong the furnace age of Induction furnace by using fireproof materials?
magnesia solid materials have thermal endurance and erosion/ performance and its change of temperature is likely to cause cracks. properties of materials (aluminum) in such case have to be taken into consideration.
Q:Who knows the texture of fire-proof wooden door material?
Steel door, wooden door or steel wooden door can be inset fireproof laminboard, such as rock wool, perlite. Perlite (fireproof doors filling material, fireproof doors raw material) using for fireproof door core is mainly used for the filling material of fireproof doors and security doors. Fire protection, thermal insulation, good sound insulation effects, and higher performance than aluminum silicate wool and rock wool. The combustion performance of perlite using for fireproof door core reaches class A non-combustion, which is new type of fireproof doors filling material with characteristics of low cost, good fireproof performance and excellent environmental protection performance. The advantages of fireproof door core perlite as fireproof door filling material: 1, Good fireproof performance, so it has a function of fire prevention. Environmental protection: all materials are environmentally friendly products. Pollution-free: the product is composed of glass fiber reinforced materials and inorganic binder. 2, with characteristics of non-flammable, non-explosive, water-resistant, oil-resistant, chemical erosion resistant, non-toxic and good mechanical strength, etc. The product can be used for mechanic processing like sawing, drilling, gouging, etc. High fire resistance, in the simulated combustion tests, it doesn't deform when the flame temperature reaching 800 degrees, has good fire retardant and fire-resistant properties. 3, product material is cheap, suitable for all kinds of fireproof materials. Perlite fireproof board is made by pressing the expanded perlite powder and high temperature fireproof adhesive through mould, suitable for the filling material of fireproof wooden door and fireproof steel door, which is the substitute products of aluminum silicate wool and rock wool. 4, has advantages of light volume-weight, high refractoriness, strong compressive strength, small thermal conductivity, non-flammable, non-toxic, tasteless, non-pollution, etc.
Q:How is grade of fire endurance divided?
Level of the building is classified according to the importance, fireproofing, durable life and etc. different angles. Civil buildings are classified according to the following ways: 1, It is divided into five grads according to its importance: A, AAA level: Buildings with great memorial, of historic, international and national level. B, A level: High-grade residential buildings and public buildings. C, B level: Intermediate residential buildings and public buildings. D, C class: Ordinary residential buildings and public buildings. 2, It can be classified into four types according to the fireproof performance: Fire resistance level of the buildings is divided into four levels. Standard of fire resistance level is decided based on the combustion performance and fire endurance of the main components of the building. 3, It can be classified into four levels according to the durable life: A, A level durable life is more than 100 years. It is applicable for important buildings and high buildings. B, B level has a endurance for 50 to 100 years and it is applicable for ordinary buildings. A, C level has a durable life of 25 to 50 years. It is applicable for less important buildings. B, D level has a lasting year of below 15 years and it is applicable for temporary buildings.
Q:Does anyone know the difference between refractory and thermal insulation material?
I will give you a relatively simple analysis. Refractory can bear above 1,200 degrees centigrade, but some refractory is not insulated. For example, refractory brick can be directly in contact with heat source, but it has little insulation effect. Refractory includes ceramic fiber, high silica and so on. And they can be also insulated. But insulation effect is not so good as insulation material. Insulation material generally can bear below 800 degrees centigrade, and it is large in thermal resistance, low in heat conductivity coefficient and high in porosity factor, thus reducing heat loss. Briefly speaking, insulated material is to store most heat, and just let a small quantity of heat run of through air, thus insulating heat. Refractory includes glass fiber, rock wool, aerogel blanket and so on.
