Q:I want to get a good gamer chair for my room. I usually lay/sit on my bed while I'm playing, and now it's deforming my mattress. I want to get a chair/seat/whatever to set on the floor. I've seen a few with curved backs that look pretty cool. What do you think?Speakers are cool, but they're more optional for me.

Print those pics out and put an add on your local community noticeboard. Try one outside of a shopping centre or grocery store. They look a little retro. Papasan chairs were really big in the 70's so someone probably has one they want to get rid of in their garage or spare room etc. That way you'll get it for a garage sale price too. I've also seen chairs like this in alot of display homes. This furniture is usually rented and when they are finished with them they end up in clearance stores. Ive bought from these before and they are quite cheap and furniture is still like new. You could do a search for one in your local area or ask staff in the exhibition/display homes where they send their furniture. Good luck :)

Q:Last night my husband and I both fell asleep on the couch in our den around 10:30pm. everything was fine when we fell asleep but when i woke up at 5am on the couch and woke him to go up to bed, we walked out into the extended part of our living room and found a chair that was moved from one side of the room to right in front of the den door. we both swore to eachother that neither one of us moved it. it is just really freaking me out. what was it?

No they shouldnt stop them. Do you realize that obesity is considered a disablity for some. Most people who are overweight have a very hard time walking and using the carts to transverse a store is a very helpful tool for them. If I were overweight I probably would use one too but no one should stop them because they are. The stores need to get more carts like them if they are running out because their are a lot of people who need them.

Q:We are finishing the basement and I have a hammock chair that I want it hung there. I am being discouraged since we are going to have a drop-down ceiling. Please give me details (hardware list) on how to do it.

Plasterboard itself is definitely not strong enough to support a hammock chair. However, the plasterboard is likely attached to rafters or joists depending where your room is located. Most would be strong enough to support an additional 100 lbs or so -- especially if you make the attachment fairly close to a wall. You must, however, install the screw hook directly into the center of a joist or rafter truss. To find the location of the joist, you'll need to borrow or buy a good stud finder and learn how to use it. Stud finders can be bought from any good tool department (Home Depot, Lowes, Ace) for around $$30.00. It is a very useful tool to own if you ever hang pictures, towel bars, grab bars, etc.

Q:My Aunty and Uncle were an oddball couple... always going to fancy dress parties in the most outrageous costumes... but they had an old leather chair.. but now that I know what it is... and how best to use it... I want one just like it. Does anyone know if you can still get them or will I have to get it custom made:It's a low wide leather chair with long arms.. the arms are very long... they extend out so that you can rest one foot on each side and still grip for all you are worth to the handles with your hands. Apparently they don't use these stylish chairs any more in gynochologist's offices.

Probably one of the best things to do is be up and front about it. Tell her that you broke the chair. She might get angry, but she'll be glad that you told her now and that SHE didn't find it broken (or maybe just angry; i don't know your mom). You will probably still get in trouble anyways, but it's better to be up and front and telling the truth. I sometimes do bad stuff, and I'm up front about it. I do get grounded, as well. Craigslist. And why not go for a real antique? Antiques appreciate in value. Many modern pieces, made in China, will depreciate. So antiques are a better way to spend your money.

Q:Last night on Smackdown, as Batista was beating on The Undertaker with that chair, Tod Grisham made the comment that we've never seen The Undertaker beaten like this before (or words to that effect). Yeah I know, announcers generally say things like this to build hype for an upcoming PPV match, but Grisham would have us believe that nobody ever had the guts before to repeatedly hit Taker with a chair.I know the Undertaker has been beaten down before by at least one chair attack that was worse than what Batista did. I won't name it because I want to hear from you. Does anybody remember that chair attack? Who was the perpetrator? And can you list any other times when Taker was beaten down by a repeated chair attack?

Q:i have one of those music chairs with the 2 speakers, and subwoofer, but is there a way to take that awful subwoofer out and put in a new one? theres not a place to unzip the chair or anything, but the subwoofer distorts on about every song that i play. and what can i replace it with to make it have a lil bass without distortion?

Interesting question...let's see if I can be of any help. The way I see it, you have roughly two choices here (3 actually, but I'll save it for last.) 1) You can take the chair apart to get to the speaker, take it out and either replace it with a similar one (like a car subwoofer speaker - check the Ohm rating) or get the broken one fixed. 2) You could bypass the subwoofer altogether - but you'd have to find the wires to it and carefully disconnect them without shorting them. Then go and buy another inexpensive subwoofer, hook it up directly to your receiver (assuming that you had a receiver driving the chair system) - making sure to place the sub right next to (or under) the chair - to get a similar butt massage effect from the bass. or 3) toss the whole mess out. graduate and get a real speaker/subwoofer set up instead. Hope this kind of helps. I was serious with the first two ideas, the thrid was admittedly a wee bit glib. Please forgive me.
