There is a lead pipe with an elbow and then it enters into a cast iron pipe with a hub.i want to keep the cast iron hub but would like to put a 45 degree elbow and use the existing lead pipe to keep it 13 inches from the wall. How do i separate the current joint by either heating or wiggling the joint out? This pipe will lay under a concrete floor. any help would be appreciated.

No problem changing the brand. If you got an exact replacement for the current unit, you might be able to re-use some of the hardware, like the door bracket. But chances are that Craftsman has changed their product line enough that you'd have to replace everything, anyway. I replaced a Craftsman with a Genie a few years ago. Both are good brands. The Craftsman lasted about 20 years.

you can buy a set of manifold guages online. - typical high side pressure (thats the smaller line) will range between 200 - 300 psig. Depending on the outdoor temperature. Instead of reading the pressure on the gauge read the temperature / number on the inner dial for R-22 that correlates to the pressure. That number should be 20 to 30 higher than whatever the outside temperature is. Low side should read between 60 to 70 psig depending again what the temperature is inside. - No. No static pressure test. the units needs to be running and the conditions should be atleast 70 F outside. And checking pressures alone will not tell you if the systems charged or operating correctly. A superheat check will give you an idea. Take the temperature of the suction line / larger pipe minus the pressure/temperature of the coil. Ex. 50 F line - 70 psig (roughly 40 F, found on the inner dial thats green) 10 F superheat. This is only enough to give you an idea, a good superheat check alone will not tell you that the systems is charged correctly, ecspecially if there is a TXV. Pressures, temperatures, superheat, subcool, will all very based on conditions (outside temperature, indoor wet bulb, airflow) Pressure and temperature readings which may be acceptable one day may not be another day as conditions change. When hooking on your hoses bleed the air out at the ends, and if you don't have low loss fittings expect to loose apprx. 3-5 ounces of refrigerant when you take off the high side which will be liquid refrigerant spraying out for a few seconds, so be sure to wear gloves, or learn how to recycle the refrigerant back into the low side from the high side before taking off your hoses.

Bring stickers for whenever they are good. Some for boys and some for girls. I babysit a ton of kids and all of them love when i give them stickers!! Also, a good idea for somthing to do is bring thick string and cherios and make a delish necklace/bracelet etc with the cherios!! The kids will love it and be preocupied with making the necklaces for 1-maybe even 3 hours! Suggest they make the necklaces for their mom and dad, and you can make them too so you dont get bored :) This is a good snack too. I use this idea on all the kids i babysit and depending on how old they are it keeps them occupied for a long time :D

Q:I brought my car in to an independent VW shop to replace my HID lights with a different K bulb so I did, but the mechanic said that hey your car feels weird, then he said take a look at your tires tell me if its shaking, I guess it was shaking but maybe to me it looked like it was shaking because he said something. Since there is no acceleration going on, the two frames are equivalent. The speed of the car as measured by a ground observer is the same as the speed of the ground as measured by the driver. Has to be - both frames are inertial and neither frame is the master reference. So, if the ground observer sees the car pass at .8c, then the driver sees the earth pass at .8c. They will both see time and length differently in the opposite frame than the other observer, but they will both see the opposite frame passing at .8c. The speedometer is just the way that the driver measures the speed of the passing earth. It should read .8c. I think that's right.

I've got the same things in the building I work in. There Hard wired smoke fire detectors. The red light tells you the system is active. The other smoke alarm on the ceiling is probably a backup in case the building looses power. NOTE: Carbon Monoxide is heavy.The detectors are usually located near the floor.
