- Q:i have these two keyboards in my mind now, razer lycosa mirror edition and Gigabyte Aivia K8100 Gaming Keyboard, i wanna know what are some other keyboards which are gaming and illuminated[preferably blue light] . and the price is cheaper than these twothanks!
- I think the cheapest reliably made illuminated keyboards mostly come from Saitek. I'm using an Eclipse right now and it's been a great keyboard for maybe 5 years now. Granted that some of the paint is coming off the keys, but I think that the slightly more expensive (and bigger) Cyborg version has better paint. Even mine though after 5+ years is only missing paint on the L, ., , and Enter key. If you're looking for one to help you find your way in a dark room it's great, but if you're looking for one because you can't type without identifying each key then I would go with a white-lit keyboard, as it's much more visible. Lycosa is definitely a nice looking keyboard as is the Aivia, but there are many other cheaper solutions. Try exploring Logitech's line of white lit keyboards or perhaps Microsoft Sidewinder x4 keyboard, which is a fairly cheap alternative to the two you mentioned. If you're looking for something even cheaper I can't recommend Saitek keyboards enough. I think you'll be impressed with any of them, simply because back-lighting looks amazing regardless of the keyboard or the brand. From a standpoint of reliability and sturdiness i'd say Razer Gigabyte Saitek Microsoft Logitech Generic Just my opinion though, keyboards are generally pretty reliable even in the generic range.

- Yes you can. It is preferable that the keyboard has at least 48 keys, be touch sensitive (meaning the harder you play it the louder the sound you get) and have a jack at the back where a sustain pedal can be connected. This is the ideal, however any keyboard can get you started. I taught this asian guy once who was already quite good. He told me that he couldn't even afford a keyboard to start off with and had learnt the basics by drawing a life sized keyboard on a big piece of cardboard and he used that together with beginners books. An extreme example, but shows that you can learn with very little if you are motivated enough. Good luck with it.

- depends on what you mean with keyboard and mouse combos, the ones i seen at stores here in sweden is basicly just a keyboard and a mouse from the same brand sold together at ushally a bit better price and they are exactly like buying them one by one so that means well ushally its USB ports so 2 usb ports needed, one for mouse and one for keyboard.

- Unlikely. There used to be interference from one machine to another when offices started using them. So most are paired by coding now.

- The keyboard can be wireless, it can even be bluetooth, but you can't use it with the bluetooth card on the PS3, you have to have some sort of connection through USB, and the USB adapter must come with the keyboard, using a bluetooth dongle will not work The problem is, when you load linux off of the DVD, it dosen't have bluetooth drivers, but it does have USB drivers, so you need a keyboard connected via the USB port for it to work, any keyboard and mouse with a USB connector will work just fine

- with your normal keyboard, are you on a different country setting? have you by accidentally switched it to france or something? I do that sometimes, then it doesn't let you type properly since you are now speaking in that language, so some things on your keyboard are restricted. Or maybe you pulled off a key, or you spilled food on your computer, so the food went under the keyboard. or maybe you pressed too hard and the bottom of the key got damaged? And yes, you probably did switch it to another language which is adding / to the end of your letters. Just switch it back, or you can type then delete all the /. Hope this helped.
