Q:my 2001 Ford Taurus is sagging a bit in the back, I was told that I needed rear struts, will this correct that any ? I was told that I did not need to replace the springs, they are still good
u need to change the springs
Q:how does it happen i mean if ppeople say its fake. they were to small to be waight lifters and w.e so. any ideas?
Power of suggestion. Anyone can lift a carReally, you just need somebody to tell you all that crap Criss told them about his hands.
Q:I have a chevy lumina
It depends... if you have a body kit on it and there is enough clearance you might not need to but... otherwise you will probably need to lift it...
Q:Ok I have a 2001 Chrysler sebring sedan 6cyl 2.7L, and when I my brake it kind of stutters and makes a knocking sound. On a scale of 1 to 10 1 being barely pushing the brake and 10 being pedal to the floor. it usually happens between 5 and 7. The stuttering feels kind of like one part of a brake disc is thicker than the rest and when the pads hit that part the car slows much more quickly ,btu that part is no big deal. what i‘m really worried about is the knocking i get when i push the brakes between 5 and 7. There is nothing wrong while I‘m driving it only happens when I push the brakes. Thanks
I had a short tap or knock noise when applying the brakes in drive only. I changed the rotors, the calipers, and the pads at the same time. It started after I did this. I found out by jacking up the front end and listening to the brakes (when applied) and (I spun the tires manually mind you) one at a time, by using common sense, I out a screw driver in the small area between the top of the brake pad and the caliper, and found out there was too much travel from the holes that support the brake support pins. I changed the pads making sure to match up the bad pads to a pair of new ones, (with a small diameter brake support pin hole). That was the issue. The pads from Advance Auto,(ceramic wearever-about $50), were machined incorrectly. Problem, solved.
Q:So I drive a Lincoln Town Car and there is a problem with the inclination of the car. The front is at the height its supposed to be but the back of the car is closer to the floor. So my question is, does any one know how to lift the car so it won‘t be at an incline? My dad says he can‘t find a way to lift it so if any one knows what to look for that would be great.
turn off air suspension, elevate automobile in rear so tires are putting down and you are able to see cracks the place air could be leaking, elevate automobile from physique no longer axle to cause them to hang down
Q:I own a 2000 Honda Accord. When I bought it (used), it came with 20 inch rims that I really love. The issue I have with them though is that sometimes when I make turns or have many people with me and a lot of added weight, the tire touches the car and sort of grinds. This is obviously not a good thing for my tires. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advise as to how I can lift the car a bit. I have looked up some car lift parts but have no idea how they work or how to choose the right one to raise my car about 1 to 2 inches. Thanks you for the help in advance!
My suggestion is if you can bend the fender a little bit then you can get rid of this problem.
Q:The kind that can lift cars, and can be interchangeable to a bucket and forks.
It's a forklift certification
