Look at Lowe's or Home Depot or google some local carpet stores. By the way, nylon carpet is cheapest, but wool lasts the longest and remains plushy longest. To tell how well the carpet will stand up, bend the sample and look at how close together the loops are. The closer, the better.

When it comes to carpeting no one can tell you what is best. All I can do is recommend things. Your life style w/ 3 dogs I suggest more hard surface's w/ maybe area rugs. Hard surfaces such as laminate, vinyl, or ceramic tiles. But you asked about carpet. With dogs berbers of any kind are not good, this includes low nap commercial carpeting.I suggest you go look at multi tone carpets that dont show dirt are readily as a solid color. To help keep it looking good you ll need to have it professionally cleaned at least once a year.When shopping look for stain resistant carpet that the stain blocker is treated into the yarn when its made , not after the carpet is made..Look at major manufacturers , such as Shaw and Mohawk. I've had a rainbow vac. for 20 Years, and my mother in law for a least 50 years. It's a great vacuum, I also had shag rug. So someone is just trying to get you to buy their brand. If you want a Rainbow GO FOR IT. It's great for allergies, and air born pollen don't talked out if this. They are FANTASTIC.

about $100 for replacement carpeting for the front of mine same year same problem but this was happened in 2003. I installed it myself and I didn't have any problems except cutting it to size since the carpeting they sold me didn't fi quite right. When I traded it in they didn't mention that it looked replaced or knock anything off for it.
